Didn’t seem like it was THAT busy, but we did wait over an hour for a table up seat 5. We were really looking forward to this place because the reviews kinda pointed at it being a locals favorite. Drinks were quite expensive. Meals were priced in the high end for what you got. Fries were actually well below average. The seafood pasta dish was really good. The lamb feta burger was good. The ciabatta on that was perfect. The olive burger was ok. She said only 1 bite really gave you any olive flavor however. I got the mushroom muenster cheese burger. It was…. good. I was so excited to get a really strong mushroomy flavor with it boasting 3 different mushrooms! Meh…. it was one of those, “Yeah, it’s OK but I wouldn’t bother ordering it again,” kind of dishes. Overall… service was pretty good. Atmosphere was great. Food was meh. Nothing horrible, but I was just expecting a lot more, you know what I mean?

We have never had a bad meal or bad service here. Their food is absolutely amazing! Pictured is the seafood & shells & the spicy seafood stew (cioppino). An absolute must if you are in Marietta, Ohio. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting the chef and he is such a sweet and down to Earth kindof guy. I told him I make my own ricotta cheese and he was intrigued. And our favorite bartender, Brock, makes a mean whiskey sour. Come to The Galley. You can thank me later.

Ryan was our waiter, he did a fabulous job! The food presentation was perfect and it tasted as well as it looked! A very relaxing atmosphere and the music is phenomenal! I definitely recommend giving The Galley a try! I got the mushroom muenster burger and chips, that burger was better than Thurman’s and IYKYK, my husband got a pasta dish that he really liked! French onion soup hit the spot on this cool and rainy day.

Was in town for work and was recommended here by one of my colleagues who is local, wow, delicious! Very impressed all around. I went with the pork belly app, the seafood and shells pasta dish which was very good and even had room for dessert which I am glad I did because the espresso cheesecake is out of this world! I will definitely be back next time I visit.

We happened to be in Marietta for the day and we decided to stop in for food. It was unbelievably delicious. The atmosphere and service are incredible. The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced! I wish I remembered our servers name to mention him, but he was incredibly attentive and had superb recommendations. My partner got a burger and fries, and I ordered the sweet pepper caponata, added chicken & ordered a side Caesar salad. The pasta and chicken were amazing, but the Caesar salad was alright. We both got desserts & the crème brûlée was amazing for the price and my partner loved his cheesecake! We would 100% be willing to drive 50 minutes just to return!

Been there 3 times, wasn’t impressed. Atmosphere and staff were really great, desert was amazing. However, I got cold and stale fries with my burger, which took time to have sent back to the kitchen and replaced. The last time I went there, I had the mushroom and Swiss “Munster” burger. No Munster, cook must have thought it was the same Swiss, also the mushrooms listed in the menu were not the mushrooms used on the burger. So the up charge shouldn’t have been necessary.

We stopped here on St. Patrick’s day to try some of the Irish specialties they have on the menu. The server was busy but still took good care of us. I enjoyed the Irish stew and salad. My husband and son both had burgers and fries, they said they were really good. The brunch burger was huge! It has extremely thick bacon on it. We finished the meal off with the Irish crème brûlée and it was delicious! Thanks for taking the time to create a unique menu for the holiday! ☘️ Green beer and other drinks were available as well. This is a great restaurant!

The Galley is a real Gem for the Marietta area. Their food is always delicious and they have a great atmosphere. The filet mignon is awesome and you can’t beat their carrot cake. If you are anywhere in the area it is worth stopping in for a wonderful meal.

I have eaten here about 3 or 4 times over the past 9 years since I’ve returned to Parkersburg and consistently find this to be one of the best local establishments in the Mid Ohio Valley. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are all top-notch. Dined here tonight with a small group of friends, and we all agree that it was absolutely amazing. Started with the Meatball appetizer and then enjoyed the Shell and Seafood Pasta. Delicious! Our server, James, was attentive, knowledgeable, and took wonderful care of us all. Highly recommended.
