Second time I visit The Goat. Greatly improved…!!! Loved my martini. Great bartender, he went out of his way to assure my drink was perfect. And it was. UPDATE… Another great visit… this time, I ordered a Manhatten. It was five stars all the way. No question this is a Classic Cocktail destination.

Very nice upscale type bar and cool spot in downtown Dalton. I’m usually a dive bar kinda guy, but you’ll feel at home here. Great staff and amazing drinks, especially if you’re into trying something you haven’t before. I haven’t tried the food but it looks good as well. Definitely recommend.

Really happy to have gone. The bartenders were knowledgeable and congenial, warm, and their recommendations were spot-on. First up, a gin martini. I usually go with vodka but tonight felt different. Was excellent, and when I requested that it be a tad dryer, the bartender stepped up right away, and tailored it to my taste. The two bartenders both recommended the seared tuna, so I ordered it. I decided on Lindores (scotch) which was new to me. I’m not an expert. But it turned out to be a great experience. The smoke on the front-end paried especially well with the peppered crust of the fish. All in all, a perfect setting for passing time with good conversation. Recommended.

Really enjoyed the experience! Logan and Alex were great behind the bar. I was in early, crowd was light, so Logan took the time to discuss the different bourbons & cocktails, providing a nice education. Had a great Old Fashioned and the charcuterie tray was delicious. The owners were in, got to talk to them and learn about their passion that was the inspiration for the bar. Overall a great experience, will definitely be back again!

If I could give this place 10/5 stars I would. I’m so impressed by the staff’s knowledge and attentiveness, atmosphere and drinks. I also love that it’s a fresh bar. Liquor selection is excellent. The potstickers are phenomenal.
I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially those looking for a classy, delicious drink in a chill environment.

We had Sunday brunch today (8/14/22). The food was well prepared and delicious, complimented by the craft bar selections: bloody mary and fleur-de-lis drinks. Plan to go back soon.
