I’ve been excited since I heard about this place opening at this location. I really like the location and atmosphere. I’ve been there three times now and ordered into our dealership once on a Saturday.
I’ve enjoyed all of my food, unfortunately friends/ family who I’ve brought with me have had their orders/ food not quit right and the customer service/ service speed is lacking. I understand they just opened. I’m excited for when everyone is trained in and they have their systems in place. The owner’s other restaurants have great service.
I’ve really enjoyed the boneless wings and the sweet tots. The portion sizes aren’t very big, but the flavors are good.
I will continue trying more options here and bringing people with me. I believe they’ll get the service side of it figured out.

I recently visited Fusion, and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. I ordered the Mexican Bowl, and it was absolutely fantastic—fresh ingredients, great flavor, and a perfect balance of everything. You can tell they put real care into the dish.
Our waiter, Emily, made the experience even better. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just how we wanted it. Her service really stood out and added to the overall positive vibe of the restaurant.
Fusion has definitely earned a return visit from me. Highly recommend it—especially the Mexican Bowl!

We came in after 7 on Sunday and there were only a couple other tables when we arrived and we were the only table when we left. Service was super fast and our server was friendly!
We had the fusion sushi and jalapeno poppers for apps – both were tasty.
We had the pork belly sandwich with the fries and the tempura fish tacos for our main and they were good. The pork belly sandwich could use more of the cucumber salad but the sauce that came with it was so good. The mango salsa on the tacos was delicious.
Overall, we really enjoyed our experience! It’s nice to have an option other than your run of the mill bar food. We’ll definitely stop back when we’re in town.

So I went in two times. The first time was pretty good. Had really good service. I got the Korean bowl. Definitely wasn’t my thing. Decided to give it another go. This time we had a different server. First of all the lights were extremely bright. So bright I had to switch from a table to a booth. Second, we got the buffalo wings, fusion bowl and jalapeno poppers. It was all disgusting. The wings were dry and the ranch was just straight mayo. The server said they just get bottles of salad dressing and mix it all together to make the ranch. Yuck. Also the fusion bowl tasted like a crab salad you can buy at any grocery store deli, with a few pieces of meat on the top. The poppers jalapeno was so soggy and the cream cheese tasted like onion dip. My man’s soda was empty the entire time while the kid serving us swepts the entire restaurant with a small broom like nobody was eating it there. I’m sorry but if I’m spending 20 dollars for a plate of food please don’t sweep the floor less than a foot away from is. That’s just unsanitary as heck. Also we paid in cash. Decided to leave him a tip on the table before we even paid. It was nearly $10. Bill was 50. That was pretty good as far as I’m concerned I would have left nothing normally but he did seem young so maybe was his first job. Still he grabs the $60 for the bill and asks if I want any change. Like really? You do nothing but sweep and text all night, know we didn’t like the food and you straight think you’re getting a $20 tip? We definitely won’t be going back. Sucks because there’s just nowhere to eat in New ulm that’s worth a dang other than maybe plaza and still they are hit and miss. I wouldn’t recommend. I hate writing bad reviews like this but it’s like- this food is pretty expensive and way hyped up. $10 for four jalapeno poppers that seem like they were frozen or possibly jalapenos cooked 2x and onion powder in the cream cheese. A $20 bowl of rice that taste like it came from the cash wise deli with three .25″ pieces of unseasoned steak chared and a few shrimps.

Honestly almost walked out as soon as I was rudely treated by the hostess… we walked in and was greeted by the hostess who was going to seat us at a table. I kindly asked if we could sit in a booth, which I could see was still dirty from last people. The hostess stated, “it’s dirty.” I asked if it could be cleaned as we didn’t mind waiting. She threw the menus on the original table she was going to seat us at, rolled her eyes, and walked away. We sat down at the table and then our waitress came over and said the booth was clean and we could move there. We moved, then waited far too long for her to come back for our drinks. We ordered the blooming onion to start, but it showed up at the same time as our meal, which defeats the purpose of an appetizer. We had no silverware, no napkins, no plates, and when we did get someone to bring us silverware, all it had in it was a knife… as our food sat getting cold. The menu is confusing at best and is written like a child wrote it. The food was okay. Blooming onion was undercooked and not breaded properly. Pork belly sandwich had a pathetic amount of meat and was only saved by the “Korean sauce” which I’m sure just comes out of a bottle. The waitress was very nice, but clearly had no experience and based on the hospitality we received by an owner when we arrived probably won’t be taught or managed very well in the future. I really wish we would have walked out after our terrible interaction with the owner/hostess, would have saved myself $93 on food and service that was sub-par at best.
