Windows set in the building’s façade allow customers to gaze at them while sipping Missouri roasted coffees. This place is owned by an awesome woman who proudly served our country. The store is definitely cute with interesting room to hangout and eat. They have random candy and a nice drink menu. Their food was good just wished the burrito had more flavor. Their portion were small but not a bad price. Overall it’s a nice place for coffee and a quick bite to eat.

The Funky Buffalo certainly is a funky spot. I really like this coffee shop! It has several separate places to meet, study, relax, or just hang out with friends and a couple outside tables. It even has a place for kids. I had a cappuccino which was pretty solid. The barista was super nice. I recommend checking this place out.

We found refuge today in this coffee shop after a horrible airbnb house & host experience. Staff was so incredibly kind- not rushing us even when we were the last patrons in the shop towards closing time, the muffin and coffee cake we ordered was beautifully flavourful and tender, and staff helped us choose the perfect drinks to start to turn our day around. They even patiently taught me something about coffee when I needed that extra caffeine boost! To top it off merchandise offered was diverse, functional and fun! It felt like a little piece of home, you’re missing out if you don’t stop!

This place is super cute! Drop in and find all things boutique and amazing coffee. How could you forget breakfast?? Bagels, burritos and fresh baked pastries?! I got a chocolate chunk cookie, apple pie frappe, and apple crisp macchiato. Omg everything was YUM. The owner and her employees were SO sweet too!

Super yummy Red Bull drink on the staff favorites! Not a huge selection for gifts that aren’t shirts or expensive bags! And the atmosphere was a little Jesus-y but that’s what ya get in the Midwest. Super cute spot otherwise!!! definitely stop in if ur wanting coffee or muffins/pastries.

Enjoyed the spacious layout as we could visit with our son here as a halfway point between us and mizzou. Good coffee, as well as mixed lemonade drinks (some mixed with red bull), and other coffeehouse fare. They also have merchandise, gifts. They’ve an area geared towards young kids, outdoor seating, a roomy place unlike many coffee houses that are kinda tight.
Service was great, very pleasant and friendly, you can feel the air of good values that come from a Higher Standard.

I am used to a service level at the lake and unfortunately did not meet expectations. The woman behind the counter seemed as though we were an inconvenience. She was not patient with my 9 year old when he was trying to read the menu and offered no suggestions to help him decide. I ended up ordering for him. This is a local coffee shop and would expect more patience. I am going to go out on a limb and surmise the younger female behind the counter was not the owner nor had any vested interest in serving customers/ community . We will return in the future but will be very cautious. Hate to write-off a local shop. One person can ruin perception for customers.
