I’ve been a local in the area for over 20 years and have seen many businesses come and go from this spot, but I have to say this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a local shop.
The manager was extremely rude and gave the impression that customers weren’t welcome. The overall attitude was dismissive and unfriendly, which really takes away from what should be a simple and enjoyable experience supporting a local takeaway.
On top of that, the food quality was disappointing. The chips were soggy and when I asked for chicken salt, I was told they don’t offer it. For a fish and chip shop, that’s pretty surprising.
There were also basic inconveniences, like not being able to split payments, which just added to the frustration.
As someone who has supported local businesses in this area for decades, it’s disappointing to encounter this level of service. I hope the owners take this feedback on board and improve both their customer service and the overall experience for locals who just want a decent feed and friendly service.

Food was fresh and perfectly cooked.
Got the family pack with fish bites and was overwhelmed by how much food you got. Definitely get your monies worth.
Also got 2 sausages and a Hawaiian burger.
Staff were super friendly and gave options of battered, crumbed or fried fish. Chicken salt for the chips, multiple choices of sausages and asked what sauces we wanted on the burger.
Will 100% be going back.

Been chasing a good fish and chip shop since our favourite shut down years ago. These guys were amazing! Decent pricing, good chips and fish! Finally nice to find a take out as a family that’s a bit more affordable!
The fish was a decent size and fresh! Love that they come with fresh lemon and tartare sauce! The extra large chip sizing feeds the whole family!

Absolutely love this place! Customer service is 100% And the guy that has seen us always is happy and friendly. He went above and beyond to make our very first visit last week – a great experience. We will definitely return here! Whether it were 10mins or 40mins away I’d do the drive regardless. The fish is beautiful, the chips are the best and the burgers so far have been amazing also. Thank you guys

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Bought COD and chips and the 8 dollar serve of calamari. The biggest and tastiest piece of fish I think I’ve ever had. Will be a repeat customer .

I honestly don’t know why the reviews are so poor with the new ownership. I purchased a $20 fisherman basket for my mum and I and we couldn’t even get through it. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly and in a timely manner. The size was very generous and the service was friendly and professional. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time.

Hi guys! I think you need to have a little sign up with estimated wait times if you’re overwhelmed and understaffed. We waited 30+ minutes for 2 x large chips and had somewhere we needed to be.there were also plenty of unhappy people waiting out the front for just as long, if not longer. I wasn’t going to write a review because things happen but, after racing off to a family event and opening them we realised we were given the smaller sizes and they were barely full of chips.
Definitely need a sign guys! You’ll either look like the busiest and greatest shop ever with wait times but if you’re not prepared you’ll get some frustrated customers
