Went to eat a late lunch/early dinner before the Christmas parade. We were seated quickly and served in a timely manner. Fries were excellent, my son said the grilled cheese wasn’t great, but it did suffice and was ok. My daughter and I got the same burger (The Irma, I believe) and asked for no tomatoes and to be well done, which means to me, no pink in the meat. What we got were burnt burgers with tomatoes. They didn’t taste good since that’s all we could taste. I did tell the waitress, and she did get us newly made burgers. They were really good the second time, still had the tomatoes which we took off. I don’t like being wasteful, but sometimes it happens. Staff was pleasant, and the place was clean, I would eat here again.

Drove from Richlands Va to Tazwell Va and ate lunch at the Front Porch on Main. The interior walls are filled with local artist art work all of which are on sale and create a great warm atmosphere. The place is very clean and the waiter we had was great. The food was delicious and the portions quite large for a reasonable price. What’s great is you can eat inside or enjoy your meal out on the Front Porch. I will be coming back in the future for dinner.

We loved this place. Service was first rate and food was delish. Not a five star, bc I’m a foodie from the city, but it was definitely satisfying and more like 4.5 stars. Great cocktails for sure. Try their dirty martini or smoked Old Fashioned. Thanks, Kim, for the great service!

I had the Blue cheese wedge salad for lunch. It was delicious!!!!! The restaurant is in a house and they have used the interior space well. The tables are divided among small rooms which helps with the noise. You can also choose to eat on the actual front porch. You are able to have conversation without interruptions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We found to be very affordable.

Delicious 10oz Fillet, medium rare! Side of sautéed mushrooms and creamed spinach. Hot oven rolls, pineapple upside down cake and a Hellbender drink, all for $50. Best restaurant dinner I’ve had in a long time.

The service team were extremely pleasant, welcoming, knowledgeable, informative, good energy, on top of their game
Bacon and fries nice and crispy (good fresh oil was used), pretzel bread was used for the sandwich which was nice and soft, chicken quesadillas were huge, fresh and delicious, chicken salad sandwich was light, fresh and devoured
We enjoyed our experience and wish nothing but continued success to the owners, management and overall chef and service team especially the hostess

The restaurant Wasn’t very busy when we stopped by but at 2:45 it was between the lunch and dinner crowds I hope, because the food was great and service was extremely friendly and quick. My wife got the country fried chicken and if we’d know what a plate full she was getting we would have shared it. Will be back for the Coal Miner Burger soon….who can turn down 1/2 a pound of bacon! Total bill was actually lower than expected…definitely my newest favorite restaurant in the area.
