My family went to The Front Porch for lunch. I made reservations a few days prior with a very friendly staff member. We arrived and we were seated very promptly. The server was very nice and friendly. She kept our drinks refilled and checked on us several times. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy on the porch. Dickson has a quaint downtown area worth a visit.

(yes we were confused because we had never tasted what turned out to be cornbread and a Hawaiian Roll baked with a brown butter topping before… OMG DELICIOUS!!! Secondly. I got a delicious Salad but it didn’t come with croutons and I love croutons. When they said no they didn’t have them, I didn’t think much about but the waitress soon returned to tell me the chef/cook was making me handmade croutons. This made for amazing experience!!!

The Front Porch is getting a 4, but with reservations. I went with friends and we all liked our meals. I got a veggie plate. The food was hot and good. My friends got the beef stew and we’re also impressed. The last person in the group got a panni and like it too. Deserts yummy. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Why the hesitation? The bathroom was dusty. The baseboards and other surfaces. It wasn’t dirty as such, but dusty. If the service and food hadn’t been so good I would have given it a 3.

We stopped in for lunch while moving/traveling. It had been a while since we had a home cooked meal and boy did this hit the spot. The owner takes great pride in her restaurant. She was constantly cruising the dining room to make sure guests were well cared for despite the Sunday rush. Highly recommend this place… Well worth the 10 min drive past chain restaurants off the highway.

Just discovered this restaurant while traveling through Dickson. Very glad that I did too. Their blue plate specials are a real bargain and the food is delicious as well as plentiful. We had the artichoke chicken casserole and it was really good. Love the cornbread and rolls too (almost like dessert!).

We Googled places to eat in Dickson and this delightful “mom & pop” spot caught our eye! Absolutely amazing! Food, atmosphere, and service was so relaxing and nice! Food was great! We’ll be back there for sure. I highly recommended them and bring a friend…you won’t be disappointed!

We stumbled upon this place while camping nearby for a few days. What a great find! It’s an old house converted to a cozy restaurant with several seating rooms. They offered just a few items on the menu but everything was DELICIOUS! The staff was extremely friendly. We hope to come through this way again for another visit.

My husband and I have been coming here for the past year and a half. We love the food, hospitality and staff so much that we really wanted The Front Porch to cater for our wedding that was in December 2019. We had all of our favorite staff there helping, the food was incredible and they even made sure we were able to eat in between visiting with guests. Jamie went above and beyond! All of our guests kept mentioning how they loved the food and service, thank you so much Jamie and all of the staff that was there to help!!
