I tried the tots with their cheese sauce — absolutely delicious. We also ordered the breaded chicken sandwich topped with a fried egg and bacon, which was hearty and flavorful. The eggs Benedict with potatoes was another highlight, cooked perfectly and very satisfying.
My only small wish is that they offered freshly squeezed orange juice — I always miss it at breakfast spots. That said, they make up for it with a nice variety of mimosas and a good coffee selection.
Overall, tasty food, generous portions, and a pleasant way to start the morning. We’ll definitely be back! Ange was our host and she was amazing.
The Friendly Toast in Boston lives up to its name, providing a truly wonderful brunch experience that brightened up a rainy Sunday morning. Arriving around 11 AM, we saw the place was already bustling with a line of people, but the hosts were incredibly friendly and patient, making the wait feel manageable despite the weather.
We lucked out and found a spot at the bar, which cut our estimated 20-minute wait down to just five. The bar was the perfect spot—plenty of space, a lively atmosphere, and an amazing server named Amy. Amy was an absolute star: friendly, welcoming, and she managed the bar with impressive skill. A huge thank you to Amy for making our visit so enjoyable!
The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the churro bites, which were a great choice. For my main, I had the Friendly Toast Bunny, an eggs Benedict dish where the eggs were poached to perfection and the ham was just right. My husband was equally thrilled with his hash quiche, a creative and delicious dish that featured hash browns shaped into a bowl topped with eggs. The coffee was excellent as well, with no complaints whatsoever.
Our brunch was a huge success, thanks to the amazing team at The Friendly Toast. It’s clear that their commitment to great food and exceptional service makes them a must-visit for anyone looking for an incredible brunch experience.
Cons: pricey, music a bit loud, wait time
Overall good experience, good vibes and great food with real maple syrup which is amazing!! If you’re going on the weekend I would get on the waitlist (on website). It can get a bit noisy with a lot of people but not too bad. The chicken and waffles were yum and I would get again.
