Such a cool place. We are from central KY so we felt a tad of out of place walking down a bigger city road and people who dressed far different than we do. But upon entering we noticed more people who looked just like we did. Some of everything really. It’s a tourist destination so I should have expected that. But if you feel like it’s “not you” don’t worry, the waitress and hostess seating made us feel right at home. Emma was a ray of sunshine, so kind and laid back. She seemed stress free and was an ace at her job.
We LOVED the special they have right now and it’s a MUST TRY. The pumpkin spice bacon was amazing! It was my fav item ordered and that’s saying something because the chicken cordon bleu Benedict was awesome as well! My hubby had the French toast monster breakfast and commented on how good the eggs and French toast are. Coffee is nice a strong too.
Overall this place is a 11/10 and I’m so glad we stopped. I hope our waitress sees this review and takes pride in knowing she does an awesome job. May God bless you and yours. ~your friends from Hodgenville KY

We really enjoyed our visit. The food was very good, and they also have a kids’ menu, which was a big plus for us. We tried the chicken and waffles, pancakes with turkey sausage, and a chicken sandwich — everything tasted great. I also appreciated that they are nut-free, which made us feel comfortable. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and hardworking. Overall, a great place for families.

We were told 30-35 mins to wait and actually got in within 20 minutes. The service was decent and the food and drinks were great! You gotta try their maple turmeric hot sauce!! Great flavor to it.

My first time here was definitely a really good experience. I ordered a Stake B’omelet and it didn’t disappoint at all. The buttered toast was drenched in flavor, the home fries were so so but with some hot sauce they were good. And i cant forget the maple bourbon cold brew (alcoholic) drink that hit the spot at 8am as a well the Delicious young upstart IPA to get the day started.

My wife and I loved our visit at friendly toast. We waited roughly 35 minutes and was well worth it. We did a mimosa flight for breakfast, breakfast burrito and the monster breakfast. It was exactly what we needed.

The menu was outstanding! And the boozy coffee flight is a DREAM – every flavor combo of yummy! I forgot our servers name but she was awesome & the chicken and waffles are as yummy as you’d hope.

Best boozy flights in town! Especially the coffee ones. Pancakes are huge and the best tasting pancakes I have ever had! The decor is right up any gen x’s alley! So much to look at on walls, ceiling, etc.

Great place to eat and great vibes. If you are lucky enough to have Shannon or Schnookums as your waitress you know you will have a great time along with a great meal. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but pictured here are some excellent options like the Irish Benny, cinna-swirl french toast, and breakfast street tacos. The drinks are also decadent for a coffee drinker or a Boozy Coffee Flight for a choice of all the flavors.

I have never left a Google review before but our server Eric was so phenomenal I wanted to give a shout out. It was our first time going to this restaurant. The decor was awesome, so much vintage stuff. The food was amazing, I got the classic breakfast and my boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy with a side of freshly made corn beef hash. He couldn’t stop raving about it! The best part though was Eric, our server. He was friendly, down to earth and was very helpful with letting us know about some of the favorites on the menu. He checked in with us throughout our breakfast and took very good care of us.
