My Young Beautiful Bride and I visited Wabash, Indiana this morning and we stopped at THE FRIED EGG for breakfast

We really enjoyed the opportunity to get breakfast or lunch at the same time, My Young Beautiful Bride ordered a vegan skillet and I ordered the fried whitefish.

The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and we didn’t have to wait long for our meal.

We will definitely be visiting this place again.

This place definitely exceeded my expectations. I can’t remember what the name of this restaurant was a few years ago under different ownership, but I was completely surprised at how nice and clean it was when we walked in today. The menu was fairly typical for what you would expect from a local diner, with a few novelties thrown in here and there. All four of us though were in agreement that the food itself was very good! Definitely will stop here again if we are in the area.

Our first visit. A great place with plenty of parking and seating (had a second dining area as well. Our server was friendly, our food was good (try Alfredo’s Mess) and hot. Price was very reasonable. Excellent experience!

We both got the senior fish dinner. Wow, the portion sizes were huge! Great value. Great service! Will be back.

The only problem was the booth we sat in. A staff member was sitting in the booth behind me and when she sat and got up later, the booth rocked and banged each time. Very startling. Please repair.

Scrumptious food, generous portions, and fast, friendly service in a modest atmosphere. The hot chocolate was wonderfully rich and had a surprising depth of flavor. The cinnamon roll pancakes were decadent, with warm spices and flavorful frosting that seeped into every nook and cranny of the fluffy pancakes. The breakfast skillet was filled almost to overflowing, and the mini malted Belgian waffle was airy and light. Overall, a huge amount of delicious food that will leave you feeling happy and satisfied the rest of the day.

My group had just finished up a triathlon in Huntington, so we were starving, and almost everything in that town was closed. Came out here as a last resort and it was worth the trip! We’ve since some a few times. The kids meals are rather impressive in quantity (I think most places under estimate how much kids eat). The portions were large enough to satisfy our big appetites.

Service was good, the place is large and can accommodate big parties, and they have a decent variety to their menu. The coffee was weak, so I’d probably pass on that next time.

The food here is really good and the service was friendly and helpful. It is usually a pretty busy place so you can tell that has a great reputation among the locals. I fully recommend The Fried Egg for breakfast.
