We were looking for a little small place to eat, and we found it. There’s only about 6 or 8 tables. Everything on the menu looked delicious! I ordered blackened alligator fillet. I got alligator pieces. The blackened seasoning was delicious! I asked about it, and they make it in house. My boyfriend ordered fried alligator fillet, and got pieces also. They were out of a few side items but other than that it was pretty good. We would definitely go back if we come back through the area.

This is a great little dive with very good cajun inspired food as good as any I’ve found in the bayou. It is a small joint and they only take cash but there is an ATM located inside should you need it. The food is outstanding and the service is very friendly. I highly reccomend this place because I’ll definitely be coming back.

This place is a gem. Small atmosphere and the food is absolutely amazing. Our server was so great and they were more than willing to create a special meal for my 9 year old daughter. If you’re traveling by Kingsport be sure to stop!

Tiny little place, friendly service and good food. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, this is it! The grilled alligator was fabolus as well as the beans! And of course the friend green tomatoes (But I wish they had a spicier dip) Blackened chicken sandwich was great for the less adventurous! Can’t wait to go back and bring our friends!

Awesome atmosphere, especially for a small business. Food was wonderful and our cooks and servers had great personalities. My girlfriend and I started off with an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. I had the alligator, blackened. It had a great kick. Green beans and a loaded potato. My girlfriend had the scallops and rice with fried okra and a loaded potato. We finished off with deep fried cookie dough dressed in chocolate sauce and powdered sugar.

The portions were good and the food was very tasty!
Dress casually.
It is a cash-only restaurant and there is a ATM in the facility.

Really good food. Loved the batter! Prices are a lil high and the selection is small, but the quality was definitely worth it. The alligator wasn’t tough and the shrimp was just right. Cozy place, perfect for a date.

This is a very small place inside. But the food is good, if a little pricey . You can easily spend $60 bucks for 2, which doesn’t include a decent tip. Sides are small. Definitely needs some remodeling, especially the bathroom. BYOB. Best of all is the staff. Local people who work extremely hard to make you happy.

CASH ONLY!!(but there’s an ATM inside) Now that that’s out of the way, the food here is great! The gator is great! We also tried the gumbo, and the jambalaya. Both were good enough to order again in the future, not quite great though. This place is a little hole in the wall, but definitely worth the visit.
