I recently visited The French Spot and had an amazing dining experience. This charming restaurant not only boasts a pet-friendly patio but also offers a delightful array of dishes that left me completely satisfied.

We stopped by for breakfast after another place we hoped to try had a 30-minute wait and were delighted by this hidden gem in Cedar City.

This place is AMAZINGLY delicious. Their regular plain butter croissant is so good. I got the Croque Monsieur and wow it was amazing. Cheesy, crunchy, and savory. My daughter ordered the Nutella crepes and wanted more. PERFECT location for an amazing breakfast.

WOW! What a Diamond in the Rough! We stumbled upon the wonderful little place by accident and we are so happy we did. I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often! If you are driving through Cedar City YOU MUST STOP! You can get a meal, a beer, a coffee, desserts! We stopped in after dinner and got coffee and desserts and it was so much fun and delicious! The owner is a gracious man and was so kind and welcoming to us all! Truly wish we could eat there each day of our trip!! Go in for a macaron at least they are out of this world!!

Rude workers I was in town for the first time in Cedar city. I heard this was a awesome spot to eat so I decided to go. I went inside to place a order to go and no one asked to help me I asked where do I place a order and they just stared at me and made me wait 10 mins to order. After ordering my food took 30 mins to get 2 orders of the croissant, French toast with strawberries. When I got back to my place the food was soggy and not fully cooked. Seems like the workers had a bad day. I recommend always putting the customer first and making every dish the correct way. Waste of time and money sadly I didn’t have a good experience.

The food here was good. The atmosphere was very strange and the service stranger. We walked in the door and a worker was sitting at a table doing nothing with the lights in the building off. I felt awkward walking in, like an unwelcome guest. I felt that the worker felt inconvenienced that I was there to place an order. The dining room was very hot and no waters were poured for us as we waited around 30 minutes for our food to be prepared. No other customers were in the building until some other guests arrived after us. After these guests waited for a few minutes without being helped, they started yelling “Helloooo?” It was just really strange. The workers did not seem very welcoming or willing to be prompt to take care of their customers. The ambiance could be improved with music, better lighting (that is turned on), air conditioning, improved cleanliness, and workers who are cheerful and eager to serve their customers.

I’ve always known that the almond croissant was my love language, but all of the food here is DELECTABLE!! They have vegetarian options and the macaroons we took to go didn’t even make it home. Try the lavender macaroon… you’re welcome!!

Never again. All I ordered was a quiche and salad – $15 later – to go. No drinks! When I opened the container for lunch, had 90% salad, a tiny cup of vinaigrette (they never asked what type of dressing I wanted) and a very, very small slice of quiche that was completely BURNED on top. There was no picking it apart . The entire top was blackish brown and most unpleasant to try and eat around. Not for $15. Not even for $7.
