Amazing Dining Experience
MY RAVE: I will say overall the restaurant was win in the realm of dining experiences. The interior design is elegantly amazing. I love the large chandelier! The chairs are fit for comfort and the gold cutlery and crystal-clear food dishes add a touch of elegance as well. The waitress was nice and did provide drink and dinner selections. The drinks are an experience within themselves. If you are a quality drinker, you most definitely will appreciate the drinks. The FOOD was better than I could have imagined. Being that my family is from Louisiana I must say its was good as I knew it should be. My compliments to the Chef!!!! The key lime pie was absolutely delicious. I don’t recommend the peach cobbler though. We also had the privilege to see a birthday show that the restaurant put on for someone else’s birthday and it definitely had Louisiana appeal and entertainment. Overall I do recommend going for the experience.
MY RESERVATIONS: I don’t mind spending more to have a unique and delightful experience, but some things seemed a bit much to me. Let’s start with all the drinks being the same price. Not sure if top shelf liquor was used in the drinks (drinks made at bar as usual), but they were a bit pricey. The entire menu is very upscaled in price ($$$) considering the location is in a shopping strip vs a stand-alone restaurant. My second reservation is that there is no official sign on the location. The windows have the name, but you must be watching carefully to notice (or driving really slow). This goes to visual appeal and there was none on the outside. My third reservation was the fact that your entrée doesn’t include sides and sides cost more than the desserts. Chicken with no sides is just chicken. This really seemed odd to me. They also need reconsider the way the brussel sprouts are cooked. They were too charred and we did not eat. Money wasted.

I attended a private party the menu was limited. The decor in this place is glamorous. The taste of the food matched. Presentation is everything here. There’s a full length mirror in the women’s bathroom. I couldn’t decide what I wanted because everything was pleasing to the eye. I ordered the ribeye medium well. It was flavorful, tender and juicy. The sides were separate so my husband and I had greens and macaroni and cheese. I would have prefer some potatoes. I was not impressed with either. The flavor of the greens clashed with steak. I didn’t pay attention to the wait time because I was talking and it was a large group. The owner and staff was awesome. Drinks were eye catching, it wasn’t strong so maybe it’s what I ordered which I can’t remember. I’m definitely going back.

Baby when say they made my 30ty bday dinner feel so special! The restaurant itself was nothing short of Amazing! Shout out to the owner that gave me and my guest free shots to show there appreciation! Shout out to the cooks that food was the bomb literally Shout out to the host David that seated us and shout out to the bartender/waitress, if juggling 12 things at once was a person he would definitely pop up! The drinks were made to perfection.. even when I stepped out the restaurant for a second he made my drink fresh because he didn’t want it to be watery!! The service was a 10/10! I would definitely recommend coming here… will be posting video on TikTok and FB!! Y’all come check them out you won’t regret it ❤️

Let me start off by saying the atmosphere and vibe was everything. It was beautiful, laid back with a five star feel. The staff was excellent. However my Two stars only and thats for being beautiful inside and being black owned. Service time and taste was a zero star. We went as a party if 10. We received out meals one at a time. (They restaurant was not busy) it may have been 3 table total. The food looked great. Looked as if it was going to be great….BUT our table ordered abt 7 different things so we could taste it. All of the plates were unseasoned. The alfrado sauce tasted like it came straight oout of the jar, nothing had seasoning at all. Most cajun restaurants are full of flavor. The only thing cajun about this place was the name.

First time trying this restaurant drove from Houston to Surprise my sister for dinner. I believe my brother-in-law called to make reservations and when we got there we still had to wait another 30 minutes for a table. The staff is friendly the owner / chef were very happy. My only issue is that I think he interacts with the public too much and he should be in the kitchen. Because our food took almost an hour and 20 minutes to come out. I know it was a 15 top table but being someone that’s worked in the restaurant industry that was damn near unacceptable. his food is not cheap not even close a meal for two people we had one drink a piece was $169 and I had 2 mini crab cakes and lobster mac and cheese. The atmosphere is very appealing they do this New Orleans type you know walk through the street jazz band thing The crab cake was delicious The lobster mac and cheese I didn’t find any lobster in it at all sides are $14 a piece which I find to be a little expensive but it was birthday so you know through caution to the wind but they do need to sign on the outside of the building that is not a banner because I went to the restaurant the first time couldn’t find it cuz they don’t have a name on the door nor do they have a banner that states what it is the banner had flipped up due to wind.

My friends invited me here for brunch. They were raving about the buffet. However, the Sunday I went, they had stopped the buffet, and we had to order from the menu. My friends were a bit disappointed because they loved the option of selecting what they wanted from the buffett. Anyways, the ambiance is pretty cool. It is located within a shopping center, plenty of parking spaces to choose from. The food was pretty good. One of my friend had the Chairman sandwich, and another had the Chicken and Waffles (ONLY dark meat is served). I had the Cajun Fish & Shrimp Pasta. I enjoyed my meal and it was a decent size. The owner comes out periodically and spoke to his customers. Told us we were welcome here and it’s a safe place where ‘we’ can go where we are CELEBRATED and not tolerated. Also, the time I was there, he came out with 2 rounds of shots for everyone. So I enjoyed my experience. Where the issue came was when it came to our bills/payments. We each gave our cards separately. When they returned the cards to us, they were so confused (the waitress and someone else that helped the waitress at the register) he was giving us the wrong cards with the wrong receipts, they were back and forth to the back with receipts and charges. It was 3 of us at the table and all 3 charges were incorrect. They told us they corrected it and it would take a day or so to see it on our cards. I have my receipt for $34, my transaction notification text said a hold of $34 was placed on my card. So i thought everything was sorted…WRONG!!!3 days after, (my meal cost $34)I had a charge posted on my card for $89. The charge for someone else at the table. She said she was charged $34 multiple times when I reached out to her. I have since placed a dispute via my credit card company. They are looking into it. Outside of this, my experience was good. But this whole mix-up definitely caused me to lower my rating. Look at ur receipts and then look at your statement once charges are posted.

Very disappointing! There’s only 4 waiters/waitresses in total. We arrived at 7:30 and did not receive our food until 9:15. But, their friends were seated and received their food before everyone that arrived before them. Ordered the fried calamari that was said to have a honey sriracha sauce and was served bbq sauce (masterpiece the spicy kind). Ordered the stuff chicken that was barely stuffed. The greens were not the best just a bunch of pepper and the “candied yams” not candied but mashed probably the sweet potato filling. (Bland) I would hate to order something else with expectations and not receive what I actually ordered. Oh and yes since the food took forever I asked for to go boxes. Overpriced and needs to work on a lot! I forgot to mention the added on service fee. The best thing was our apologetic waitress

The ambience in this place is outstanding. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was amazing. I thought it very nice that the owner came out and introduced himself. Personally, I also appreciate how the staff took care of the patrons … we had a really good time there (birthday dinner).

Check out my review on open table because the dinner is delicious. However my brunch experience TOTALLY DIFFERENT my food tasted like extra crispy old Crisco. Chicken no taste French toasted it may have been speaking Spanish because I was confused. Anyhow the staff was awesome as always.

The saving grace was the ambiance and the servers. The food was does not live up to the hype the egg rolls were probably the best thing i had. The mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box. The tea and lemonade had peculiar aftertastes. The chicken was mediocre skin was over cooked and hardly seasoned. For the price of 27$ and a 19$ appetizer the presentation left much to be desired. One of house staff proceeded to be aggressive to to my colleague sending his pasta back.
