After a long drive from the UK came to this pub for dinner. Service was great, attentive and good with the children. Great selection of beers, they have a kids menu which was appreciated and the food for the adults was delicious. Lovely square outside worth a visit.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for 22 years (it used to be called La Rapière). Whenever we have stayed in Arras, my family and I have always enjoyed an excellent meal here. Thierry has been there all the way through and is a very welcoming host. We could not fault this place – it’s one of the reasons to cross the Channel for us. There are always a steady string of locals in here as family or as friends – a very good sign that it’s a good restaurant. You must eat here.

This is a great place in the Grand Place in Arras. Apart from the fact that it rhymes it’s a classy, well put together Bar and Restaurant in a town that disappoints in terms of good places.
The food is too class, the presentation excellent and the decor is chic, smart and mondern antique.
The menu is varied and with “plat du jour” available and the wine menu is complete.
The staff are professional and friendly with an effort to be helpful in English. While here I witnessed one of the waitresses offering, unbidden, a bowl of water for a dog on the terrace.
The toilets were spotless.
Prices are fair for the quality of everything.
