I cannot express how great this place is. We came by in the morning and it was pretty slow. We met one of the owners and she was very, very personable and kind. I could tell she also really had a passion for and cared about the coffee they made/served. A pretty solid selection of board games and books.

Such a welcoming and cozy atmosphere and very reasonable prices. $5 per table to play one game at a time, but for as long as you want. I really have no complaints, they have plenty of seating and also rooms for parties/D&D sessions. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area that loves coffee, tea, books, or games. Love this board game cafe.

It’s the only board game cafe in the Tri city area.

Great board game cafe! Good prices and good coffee. I was surprised when finding this gem on a roadtrip. Friendly owners who were transparent about their journey of business ownership. Plenty of parking options, some baked goods available, and semi-automatic espresso machine. $5 for a group to rent a game. Coffee drinks ranged from $3-$5 average.

Spent a great afternoon at Foxes Den. Excellent tea and coffee, and the bonus was all the board games to play and books to read while you hang out. Staff was welcoming and made the place feel comfortable right away. One of those spots where you lose track of time—in the best way. We’ll definitely be back

My experience was great. There are laminated menus available for viewing and they offer a printed menu for you to take. The staff was very friendly and informative about their iced drinks. The service was awesome as the owner explained their rewards program. I was also addressed by name which adds a personable experience. My family tried their cinnamon roll, cinnamon crunch muffin, a scythe iced coffee, and a dog lover’s iced coffee. They stated it was very good and preferred it over the chain coffee offered in our area. I will definitely be going back so you should give them a try.

I found this place just looking around on Google Maps. Decided to stop in and check it out. I am very, very impressed.
The owners are extremely friendly, and the overall vibe of the place is pleasant. You come in and just at peace. They are kid friendly. They have a little art station for kids to draw, and they place the drawings on their wall.
They have books to read and board games to play. The art and decor are amazing. I got a cheese danish and the duet coffee, and both were absolutely delicious. Coffee bought from here goes to help support missionaries in Africa. They have game nights and tournaments and bible studies.
I highly recommend not only checking this place out but making it a usual weekly hang out place. They also have the ability to order ahead for pick up.

Update 5/23/25: Still a great place to get coffee and be at peace to read or play games. Love it here.

Friend recommended this coffee shop. Didn’t disappoint. I could literally spend three hours here and almost did. Big comfy chairs, couches, tables to play board games. Interesting selection of flavored coffees with cool names. They have many boardgames to choose from.
It’s a quiet place, excellent for reading or doing computer work. Didn’t feel like I had to leave when finished with my bagel and coffee. Just kept reading my book. Walked away with a bag full of books. They sell used books along the wall. It feels very inclusive here.
I have a thing about bathrooms. This one was very clean and artistic. Just added to the whole vibe. Really really loved it here ❤️.

☕️ Very cozy Cafe with a wide assortment of books and board games. For dine in patrons, they have reusable dishwear and mugs. They have private rooms for events, and if I lived closer I would definitely use it for ttrpgs. I appreciate that this Cafe that stays open late, as it seems like a good place to work or study. The staff are as sweet as their raspberry white chocolate mocha (Ms. Scarlet, in picture as a blended drink), are very patient and knowledgeable about different roasters, bean types and flavor palates. Felt part of the skulk (group of foxes), and will be coming here every time I am in town ☕️

This atmosphere is so cozy in this cafe. You got boardgames, books, a nice fireplace and an outdoorsy feel to it. But most importantly, some of the best coffee around. Better than the corporations like seven brew and others. Friendly people running the show here as well. Super artistic it looks like.
We drove 18 minutes out of the way looking for a nice cafe to just sit for a minute and we found it. Definitely won’t forget about this one.

One of the best atmospheres of any coffee shop I’ve ever been in and I’ve been in quite a few . Love the selection of games my kids have gotten a bit competitive and noisy before and no one ever complained. And yes I told my kids we would leave if they didn’t settle down my point is the staff never did. The room rentals look so cute and are so reasonably priced!
