I thoroughly enjoyed having lunch here. A friend told me that they had recently gone here and really liked it. Very reminiscent of soda fountain type diners from a bygone era. I will definitely be coming back and having a boozy milkshake with my meal.

So delicious! Def a hidden gem. Was inside the DrugCity to the left. Food was delicious, I got the Thursday Special, the lobster roll. I also tried the Cranberry Lime drink which was amazing. They mix the sodas there old style !! So cool. So many different flavors of chips, I believe the owner said 44 flavors? And you can mix and match! I tried the Ketchup and Dill which was phenomenal. Overall great experience.

This place is a local fixture with a unique atmosphere and history. The food is good and very reasonably priced. Their custom sodas and floats are a throwback to old times when soda / carbonated drinks were first available. It’s fitting that it’s part of the drug store given sodas were considered medicinal before becoming a popular all the time drink. Be sure to try out the potato chips as well. They have a wide selection of flavors. If you happen to be traveling through or visiting Dundalk this is a great place to visit and grab a bite.

It’s an old fashioned soda fountain that serves good food and ice cream. What else can you say?
It’s worth the stop, if you find yourself in Baltimore or in the area. Great place to unwind after a hard day, they got tons of alcoholic drinks and can make custom sodas, hard ciders, and floats. The price is fair, which is a welcome relief in this economy.
Check out the fine folks at Drug City, and stop by The Fountain. It was a blast. We got the egg cream, and two drinks on their secret menu (go in to see what they got on that menu!), and a Berger cookie pie (it was amazing). The waitress and cooks surprised us with some home made chips on the house, they make them in-house and can customize the flavor with different seasonings at your request.
Overall 10 out of 10! They knocked it out of the park here.

I never even knew about this place and I have lived close by since 2011. We went today with our two young children and we couldn’t have had any better of an experience. This place is such a pleasant little secret. It’s great for lunch or a quick bite. The atmosphere is so cute and our server I think was John, 10/10 for hospitality and service. The place blew up right after we sat down and he was caring for everyone . You wouldn’t have even known how busy it was bc of how effortlessly and quickly everything was flowing. The chicken salad and potatoe soup was yummy. The ice cream was a hit. The server couldn’t have been any more efficient and friendly .Definitely coming back!!!

A good selection of sandwiches, with a few entrees, along with a wide selection of kettle chip flavors (which is served with meals in place of fries). They offer daily specials that seem to sell out quickly anymore. In addition to food, the have great ice cream and deserts, with a wide selection of brandys and other alcohol.
I’ve had the Buffalo chicken dip, crab cake (delicious!!), sausage, ice cream, and several flavors of kettle chips. All were very good.

Hidden gem in Dundalk.
Service was top notch with an amazing ambiance. It’s like taking a step back in time, walking into a speakeasy (just ask about upstairs).
The egg cream soda is like a delicious carbonated yoohoo and their crab pretzel was bomb!
Loved our waitress and she even brought us a complimentary soda to try.
Don’t worry if you cant find it at first.. keep walking through the liquor store and you’ll find it!

If you don’t smile the second you walk into The Fountain, then there’s something clinically wrong with you. It would be special even if the food and service wasn’t as good as it is. I got the club sandwich and the chips, you need to get the chips. I need to try all the flavors. Oh, I also got a homemade hard seltzer. Orange Toasted Marshmallow. Delicious and dangerous. Staff was terrific. There’s apparently a speakeasy here but I’ll be damned if I know how to to get in.

Love this place. My wife and I come here for dinner, bourbon, and a milkshake every month. I wish we lived closer! We always get a crab cake sandwich, a Reuben, and if they have it a meatball sub. Consistently delicious and worth it. Milkshakes are made to order and great quality. Oh, and the bourbon…! Love their rolling selection of top notch bottles. The fair and solid prices keeps us coming back to try bottles we’ll never find in the stores. Staff is great and very attentive. Pictures are from our last visit.
