We came across The Foundry on Facebook and were impressed enough to make the 30-minute drive to check it out. As we got closer, we honestly thought the GPS was leading us astray since it took us through a private community—but sure enough, we were heading in the right direction.
The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly right from the start. We ordered two Million Dollar Burgers and two Rocket Birds. The food was solid all around—well-prepared and flavorful. Nothing over the top, but definitely enjoyable.
Overall, I’d give The Foundry a 7.5 out of 10. Worth the trip if you’re looking for a good casual meal in a unique setting.

My family and I have been going to The Foundry since they first opened, and for years it was one of my absolute favorite spots in the Denver area. It truly felt one-of-a-kind for our town — the ambiance is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, even pricing has always felt fair for the experience. It used to be the kind of place you were proud to take people. That is no longer the case and it’s very sad.
When they first opened, the food was genuinely delicious. The menu had standout items that kept us coming back — especially the crispy Brussels sprout appetizer and the truffle mushroom pizza!! both dishes were exceptional— so great! . Those dishes alone made it memorable. They removed these Items and replaced them with underwhelming choices!! I’m genuinely perplexed!
Unfortunately, over the past couple of years, the experience has become increasingly disappointing. The food quality has severely declined and now feels subpar at best. Flavor, presentation, and consistency just aren’t what they used to be. On our most recent visit, the service was also very slow, and our waitress forgot several of our requests. (Not to mention the fact that we sat for 20 minutes before anyone even greeted us) The meal itself was flavorless and so disappointing. — especially compared to what this restaurant once delivered.
This place has incredible potential. It WAS incredible. But the inconsistency, noticeable staff turnover, and drop in food quality are hard to ignore. I’m baffled by it because it’s so obviously bad. I truly hope management takes a hard look at what made The Foundry special in the first place, because our community deserves that level of excellence again.

I’ve driven by The Foundry at Trilogy Lake Norman a few times but never stopped in — finally did, and it was such a great experience . We shared some hummus to start, then had a burger and creamy cavatappi pasta for our mains . Everything was super flavorful and well-prepared . The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was really nice . Our total was around $93, but that included drinks — without them, it would’ve been closer to $60 . Definitely coming back!

The food was delicious and the service was great. They have a diverse menu with a great selection of different foods. Our server made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The portions are a lot to eat and they are delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and there are great views. My sister lives here, and it is a great place to live and eat. I had the pizza and had enough leftover that it will make another meal.

While doing business near Denver, NC and driving back to CLT we got hungry and saw this sign outta no where so decided to stop by. 0 idea this was in a 55+ community, which is gorgeous by the way…anyways…this spot was ridiculouslying amazing.

Love The Foundry restaurant. Been going there now for 8 years. Great atmosphere and food! Wonderful food choices from burgers, salads and entrees. Best salmon. Super service with a special call out to Jennifer Kaiser. Very knowledgeable and always makes sure you have what you need in timely matter with a smile on her face. High recommend!

We had our annual Christmas party here this past weekend and it is our 4th year having it at The Foundry. We love the food here and our server Jennifer did an excellent job for our party! The atmosphere in this restaurant is the best and we have not found anywhere better to move our annual party to and will be back again next year!

This used to be the best place around, quality food, great drinks and amazing service. They destroyed the menu (removed some of the best items), raised prices and now the bar drinks have gone to crap. Never mind the never ending increase of beer prices. Would never live here if I had this as my in house restaurant.
Props to Bobby, Erica and the bar gang as they are truly amazing people.
Whoever runs the kitchen should be replaced IMMEDIATELY because this is going downhill FAST.

First time visiting The Foundry – and we will be back! The Hosts and the Servers are so friendly and cheerful, and I love the open, airy feel to the restaurant. The food was unique and delicious! Located in a gated community, you just need to drive through as a guest and mention you are heading to the restaurant. Such a lovely community – looks like a great place to live!
