We went here to celebrate a birthday . The bone marrow was delicious. However, the ends were over cooked so we couldn’t enjoy all of it but it was still delicious nonetheless. The pomegranate martini was on point! The elk was not as smooth and velvety as I was expecting but it still had a good flavor profile. The view was phenomenal and their outdoor space is so comfortable yet elegant yet elegant. Would go here again.

This place was absolutely amazing. One of the best meals I have ever had. The portions were very filling. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly down to every side and appetizer. The staff were very knowledgeable and had great input on the dishes and drinks they offered. The environment was very comfortable and not too loud. Please do yourself a favor and try this restaurant!

Such a gem of a restaurant that pays respect to the area’s history and gastronomic culture. My boyfriend and I had dinner here on the last night of our recent trip to Denver, and the ~30-min drive is well-worth it. We had to wait to be seated for our reservation, but this was understandable as it was the Monday before July 4th, and we amused ourselves walking around the front and back of the property and taking pictures with the teepees and of the distant city view. The food was high-quality, the service was notably professional and accommodating, and the views were lovely.

The outstanding staff was super friendly and helpful. The elk medallions, bison and quail were delicious. The stuffed peppers were tasty. We had dinner outside the Cantina. The blue sky, mountains and beautifully decorated courtyard created a great ambiance. The draft beer selection was very good. The impromtu magic act was very entertaining, especially since the performer was dressed in period costume. Parking was very convenient.

What more can you ask for? The Fort is a great establishment with great food/service and the view is also awesome. The atmosphere was also great, and during the summer, I’d recommend dining at their outside patio. It’s especially a good place to take family and friends that are out of towners! Try their mix meat plate to try all sorts of game meat, the buffalo bone marrow and also their trade whiskey which has some fun powder in it!

Oh wow we went to have dinner at The Fort. Had tasteless overcooked food just like the mountain men who lived here in the 1880’s. The menu has catchy names and unusual wordy descriptions. The service was attentive and responsive. The building is a unique adobe construction. The entrees were bland and not inspiring at all in their presentation. Desserts were excellent. No worth a second trip in my lifetime.

Great place too eat, food was very tasty and well cooked. We had steak and buffalo ribs, steak was medium rare as asked for. The buffalo ribs were melt in your mouth tender.

This place is amazing, if expensive. My wife and I spent $280 on dinner for two (admittedly, we both splurged on duck breast, which you should, too).
