Mike is a passionate and genuine guy who runs a great restaurant. It is very apparent that he cares deeply about what he does. He does not sacrifice the quality of his ingredients or process for speed or cost. I appreciate a quality wood fired pizza and Mike knows exactly how it’s done, “the right way”.

Wood fired pizza was awesome. Excellent crust, flavor and topping options. Beautiful presentation. Detroit style had mixed reviews at our table for the crust. We all loved it but the dough was a bit yeasty and sour for some at our tables taste. Fun and rustic atmosphere. Good beer choices.

I had one of their Detroit Style Pizza’s and not only was it enough to share with another and have more to go, but it was also delicious. the pizza also held together pretty well for next day microwave.
the server was excellent, friendly, and helpful picking out our order. the indoor dining was very aesthetically pleasing was a nice place to dine. I would highly recommend

Great place in downtown Sandpoint. We had lunch on rainy cold day, so no seating outside this time. Unique Detroit style pizza is a nice treat. We will be back to try the pasta soon. A little on the pricey side for lunch, but very good food, service and atmosphere.

We are so fortunate to have pizza of this quality in Sandpoint! Best pizza dough ever. Everything here is amazing! Love the half salad option, always creative specials, you have to try a Detroit style (and I’m not a fan of deep dish pizza). Staff is always fun. You can tell they love their jobs. If it gets hot in the summer…guess what, it’s a wood oven in there. It’s worth it.

I’ve lived in Sandpoint all my life. This is hands down one of the best, if not the best place in town. I recommend it to anyone either local or traveling, and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with the food or service EVER. You can tell the employees love being and working at a restaurant that cares so much about the product and service. The owner Mike takes his business incredibly serious, and it shows. My wife and I have been vegetarian for years, and of course Mike sat down with us one night as they were closing (as he gave us a free tiramisu just because he wanted us to try it) and told us that he went to a conference of vegetarian pepperoni to find one that best emulated real pep, and told us that he keeps it stocked and we can order it any time. Well that was over a year ago to me writing this and we still order it often and it blows most everything we’ve tried out of the water for veggie pepperoni.
I can’t recommend The Forge enough.

One Bacon Bomb v. Teen: win for the teen. Loved the spongy crust!
One Olympus v. Parents & Teen: win for all. Loved the crispy cheese crust with arugula and Parma.
Brussels w/ the nduja butter is not to be missed. Would have been more than enough with the oven roasted wings, but we were indulging, and happy we did!!!
Loooove this spot! (Don’t the be wasteful idiots who don’t eat the crust and leave half your pizza sitting there!)

We ordered the Chloe Pizza (Prosciutto) and two half salads. The pizza was excellent, perfect amount of cheese and perfect crust. The salads were also very good. The service was top notch and a great atmosphere with good background music.

Maybe the best pizza I’ve ever had. We had the Detroit style Monarch Meat Mountain (Where the Elite Meet To Eat Meat). Definitely try the Mike’s Hot Honey drizzle on your Pizza. We also had the Prosciutto & Burrata. Amazing.
