I love The Food Shoppe! … The Mac and cheese is Ooey Gooey and good just as the name says. It comes with good portions also. I always get this and will get it …

From the moment we were served, it was clear this place genuinely cares about its guests. We ordered the jambalaya and were blown away by the depth of flavor. Since we follow a low-sodium diet, we casually mentioned wanting something simple to help balance the dish. Instead of a quick fix, the chef went the extra mile and thoughtfully prepared a fresh, customized plate just for us. That unexpected gesture spoke volumes about their dedication and heart. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and sincere. What started as a great meal turned into an unforgettable experience—we’ll be talking about it for a long time and happily recommending it to others.

I ordered the Jambalaya. I decided to eat in. I did add some hot sauce. Staff gave me a piece of bread pudding since that’s what they’re famous for. I tried it, and ordered a piece. The bread pudding was great! A large serving as well. Service was outstanding. They even gave me some punch to wash it down. Very friendly staff!! Definitely worth checking it out!

Food was very good. I enjoyed my jambalaya (Seasoned well) and bread pudding had so much flavor. Delicious! It was more than enough for two meals.

Very friendly staff and good food. Bread pudding definitely lived up to the hype and was big enough for 4 people. The jambalaya was great as well but could have done with just a tad less salt. Still enjoyed my meal though and would love to come back.

Can’t really say anything good about this place. The food was subpar at best, ham sandwhich had enough meat for half a sandwhich, some lettuce and pickles on the side, I’ve had better sandwiches from gas stations. The creole chicken pasta was an overcooked glob of pasta, the voodoo jambalaya had decent flavor but also overcooked and inconsistent, the shrimp were cooked to mush. All in all, would definitely preferred to kept my money and skipped this meal entirely.

Everyone raves about the bread pudding, but don’t sleep on the corn bread. Corn bread is excellent. We had the red beans and rice (small) and that was sufficient. We didn’t find it spicy at all. The beans and rice was on the mushy side – which we liked. This is what some people would call a hole in the wall – so just be prepared for that vibe. And do not expect high end furnishings or utensils. You are there for the food at reasonable prices. But the service was very friendly – acknowledging you and letting you know where your food is.

The food was delicious. This was my first time trying real food so I did not know what to expect. The food was very flavorful, and the portion size were very generous. The staff was nice and accommodating too. The bread pudding was so good that I woke up early and the day I was flying out of Atlanta to get some to take on the plane with me lol

This was my most amazing food experience in Atlanta. The chef is super friendly and I could feel the love put into the food. Authentic Louisiana dishes. I had the Red Beans and Rice, and the Voodoo Macaroni. Both were fantastic. The bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had. I will say if you are sensitive to salt it may be an issue. Go to this place if you are in Atlanta.

All I can say is WOW! Everything about this place was great. The food had me and my husband in a chokehold. The flavors the freshness of ingredients and the authenticity made this the best experience ever. We were met with lovely hospitality and were just very grateful. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Looking for bread pudding- this place came up. I decided to try the Creole potatoes at $5 and added sausage for $10 more. The sausage taste like Georgia boy sausage which doesn’t warrant $10 cost. Felt more like a $5 addition. Potatoes were fine, but weren’t unique as I was looking for. Beware that the dish comes with cheese on it even though the menu doesn’t specify this allergen. Coffee was coffee.

The red velvet cake looks like a brownie in the dark Moody lit store. Upon closer look, it is red, but it does taste like a brownie and a cake. The icing is store-bought taste, I’m ok with their unconventional icing layer on top. Didn’t love it.

Bread Pudding- Top tier. Great value, portion and unique taste. This bread pudding is a hit.10/10 I woke with stomach pains because I ate this dessert entirely too fast knowing I’m lactose intolerant, but it was so good. I couldn’t stop.

Small kitchen, so I understand having a menu that you can accommodate. Their walk-in bowls are popular, but mostly had shrimp or cheese, which I don’t do which is why I went to the breakfast all day options. The white sauce taste like a reduced seafood boil broth. They had a board with daily specials on it that I didn’t see until after I ordered and wasn’t mentioned. The cashier lady was great spirit and great service as well as the chef was great too. Fair restroom and adequate seating inside.
