Always a local staple offering live music. They still do allow smoking inside, so I only enjoy the outdoor area. It’s the only bar I know that has an outdoor fireplace creating great ambiance and a relaxing atmosphere.

Went there spontaneously on St. Patrick’s Day. They throw a great St. Patrick’s day festival with live music all day and great food options. I tried the shepherds pie and it was quite a large portion that easily feed 2 adults but it was so tasty you’d likely keep it to yourself.

Old classic in Jacksonville. Definitely has that “charm”. I was here 6-9-22, and it had a one man band. It was a good show! Usually good performances. But I think this was a first time I had to pay $3 per person cover. I don’t know about that. I do know that other places here (orange Park) we’re doing that and they lost business. The $3 did leave a bad taste, so I don’t know if and when I’ll be back. Picture of the one man band. He kinda reminded me of the Showbiz pizza guy for those of you that might know, Billy Bob Brockali.

Fly’s Tie never disappoints. Went in for late night grubs…. and the menu was choice. A Chorizo Quesadilla loaded down with cheese, topped with fresh tomatoes and a creamy Mexican dipping sauce : $9.
The atmosphere is that of any other purebred Irish Public House as if it’s handpicked from the old country and left to be enjoyed in Atlantic Beach. Locals always there having a drink and a chat. As well as plenty of wall art, chachkies, and decor to keep your attention.
