5 stars — Absolutely adore this place!

The Flying Pig is seriously one of my favorite little spots in Russellville. It’s such a hidden treasure—each sitting area inside has its own vibe and they’re all decorated so thoughtfully and cute. The photos online honestly don’t do it justice!

They have a great menu with tons of options (which I love), and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Plus, the staff is always so kind and helpful every time I go in—it just makes the whole experience even better.

If you’re looking for a cozy, charming coffee spot to sip something yummy and relax, this is it.

On a quiet stretch of Russell, Kentucky, there’s a building that looks like it blushed on purpose. Pink walls, tall windows, and a name that dares you not to smile: The Flying Pig. And honestly—if coffee shops had personalities, this one would be the friend who hugs you before you even sit down.
Step inside and the world politely lowers its voice. The floors creak just enough to remind you that stories live here. Twinkle lights wrap themselves around a spiral staircase like they’re trying to keep it warm, and the air smells like coffee, sugar, and very good decisions. Somewhere between the first sip and the second glance around, your shoulders drop. You didn’t realize how much you needed that.
The Flying Pig doesn’t rush you. It welcomes you. It says, “Stay a while. Write that thing. Call that friend. Order another cup—you deserve it.” It’s the kind of place where the mug feels good in your hands and the chair seems to understand you’ve had a week. Possibly a year.
And let’s talk about the name for a second. A flying pig. The universal symbol of sure, why not? Which feels exactly right for a coffee shop that believes warmth matters, whimsy is essential, and miracles sometimes come with foam art.
You don’t just drink coffee here—you experience it. You feel held by soft lights, old wood, and the quiet magic of a place that knows its purpose. The Flying Pig isn’t trying to be trendy or loud. It’s busy being beloved.
So yes, pigs can fly. At least in Russell, Kentucky.
And they serve really good coffee while they’re at it.

The most adorable coffee shop to stop in for a coffee, tea, or infused red bull. While your there, pick up some of the tasty food or sweets! The owner is the nicest woman and is very friendly. This place is a chill spot to hang out with friends, talk, catch up, or just stop in to get a pick me up to go. But whatever you do, GO! Loved stopping in and the decor is so detailed. Food was great, drinks were amazing! Not pictured is the beautiful spiral staircase that goes upstairs to more seating for hanging out and relaxing!

What can I say… this is a freaking gem of a place! They have non dairy milk options and vegan macaroons every detail in this place fills a corner of your heart with warmth and joy and the people are such sweethearts. I wish I lived here so I could come every single day thank you for the best latte of my Midwest journey!

This coffee shoppe was so cute and inviting. I don’t live in the area, but thought it would be a great spot to meet up with friends. The menu had a variety of items, I didn’t love my coffee choice, but that was a personal preference thing. I would definitely stop back in, if I’m in the area, to try something new.

I found this place when I took my daughter for an appointment in Russellville. Such a small town treasure! They have an extensive menu and some really creative drink combos. I loved my latte and I got some cookies and espresso piggies to go, which were very nice to snack on while traveling for the holidays. Go check them out!v

This is a local coffee shop that I visit almost every Saturday. They have such a lovely vibe. Very cozy with a bookcase of games me and my son play together as we drink coffee and tea.

One of the CUTEST coffee places I have ever been!! I had “The Emma” hot latte, and my coworkers had the “Driving Ms Daisy” iced latte and hot chocolate. We also got a turtle brownie, a granola bar and a snickerdoodle cookie; we all agreed that drinks and treats are delicious, and the place itself it’s just a dream! I could spend a whole day there just reading and chilling out. If you happen to pass by Russellville KY, this place is a must.
