This quaint place was brought to our attention by the Cog hill family farm on youtube. So glad we ( wife and I)stopped in. The food was delicious. Oh we also had the banana pudding, so good.The company was just great. We would like to thank the owners of this establishment for a dining experience we won’t soon forget.

Great BBQ and wonderful deserts. We ordered the BBQ sandwich, BBQ baked potato (my wife’s favorite), BBQ nachos, chocolate cobbler, pear cobbler, and banana pudding. The Flying Peach seams off the beaten path, but a wonderful day trip from Tuscaloosa. We look forward to a return trip.

The food is absolutely amazing, the atmosphere can’t be beat, and the owners genuinely cook every meal as if they’re making a plate for their own family members. This is the best bbq you’ll find in central Alabama! I highly recommend the BBQ loaded potato with a chocolate cobbler for dessert!

BEST Banana pudding I’ve ever had!!! Fluffy, fresh, sweet but not too sweet. Perfect. The bbq and all side are fantastic. HOMEMADE! I don’t find a lot of that on my travels. The folks that were there were friendly and took time to tell me things about the menu. If you like wonderful food, nice people, and a peaceful country vibe….look no further!

For a hole in the wall place it is the best, if you love small places not big chains then you’ll love this place! The owners are wonderful people and service is quick and the food delicious. Every now and then she has a dessert that is not on the menu and it is better than the regular desserts. If you are local and don’t want to go to town then this is your place and sometimes they have entertainment.

Food is always perfection. Bbq and burger with chocolate and pecan cobbler. The weather was perfect for sitting outside. Only thing we didn’t like was a musician was playing and had volume too loud for us to even chat while we ate. There was only one other group eating and he definitely didn’t need to be cranked up like he was a rock star.

Honestly, some of the best BBQ pork I have had in a long time, then you have their pickled onions, which really take it up a notch. This place is a hole in the wall in the middle of nowhere, but it is worth making the trip. A lot of places have pork that goes dry after it’s pulled from the smoker, but they have it dialed in. Apparently, they are only open from March til around the end of August, so get it while it lasts.
