Just a good bar with booths and pool! Jackson pizza but so good with beer! Happy Hour til eight. Buy one, get one. Love their macaroni and cheese bites! Popcorn shrimp are good also. Steak and taco nights are good. Steak night is good. Cooked as ordered. They don’t add seasoning so a little salt and pepper helps. Baked potato and bread were good and hit the spot!

Great local bar. The staff really take care of you and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is great and they have many great specials. Gotta love the drink tokens! My BF and I went here after the Greta Van Fleet show on Aug 11th at the State Fair. You could consider this a dive bar, but it was clean. Friendly people and our bartender, Dan, was awesome. We met some great ppl here and had a blast. I hope to make it back again someday. Thank you Patrick for recommending this place and thank you Dan for being so awesome and funny!

Driving back to Denver from Chicago, this spot was recommended by a gal at my hotel. Rolled over to the moose late on a Monday and found myself at the bar. Struck up some great conversations with the bar tender and a few locals. Really appreciated the friendly and divey atmosphere. I would definitely come back if I am in Des Moines again.
