This was my first time here. The place is covered in monkey decorum which I absolutely love and if you have any monkey lovers in your life, bring them there. You can purchase monkeys at the door. The bathroom even has monkey themed wallpaper. Now to the food. The food was delicious. My daughter and I ordered a few of odds and ends. We ordered the Delta Donuts, Flying Monkey Wings 8ct Spicy Monkey flavored, Flying Monkey Wings 8ct BBQ, and two B-52 Burritos. We were so stuffed after eating the donuts and most of the wings that we took the burritos home. The burritos do reheat perfectly so they are good the next day. The BBQ flavor was your basic BBQ and the spicy monkey was an interesting flavor. I definitely liked it. The service there was really good. We were seated right away. Our waitress was funny and checked in on us periodically but didn’t interrupt us if she noticed we were in depth chatting. We definitely recommend this place and I will be back to try the different flavors of wings and the other interesting items on the menu.

We went out on Wednesday with friends. The place is pretty cool, the old 99 location on the pike. Every other Wednesday they have live entertainment, just a word to the wise. If you plan on speaking with your guests or conversing with the wait staff, sit on the right side, you ‘ll be happy you did. If you like live, loud music then the bar side is for you. The band is there in the corner, music was pretty freaking good, singer was really good as well. I’m sure people get up and dance.

The drinks were great, out waitress was pretty good as well. The food was good, the coconut shrimp was fantastic, my sandwich was good. Nice stop, we just need to be better at picking our seating. What do I mean, on the bar side there is live music, or entertainment. If you’re there for the music you’ll have a great time, however if you looking to carry on a conversation with your guests, I would recommend to sit on the opposite side of the restaurant, as it tends to be on the louder side. Overall, it was a good stop for sure, good stuff and i’m sure we will stop back again. Music is on every other Wednesday I believe, be sure to double check if you’re going for the entertainment. Enjoy..

The flying monkey bar and grill did not disappoint!!! We went there on Valentines night and this was my first time, from the moment we stepped in the restaurant we were greeted by some lovely host then we were seated. There was actually a live entertainment happening as well which was a plus and that set the mood. Right away a waiter came and took our orders while we waited and enjoyed the music. That lady can sing!!! I had the bourbon salmon with sweet potatoes and asparagus while my fiance had the chicken Alfredo. The bourbon salmon was lovely everything was on point!!. If you ever needed a great place to wine and dine go check out the flying monkey bar and grill next time!!!

TL;DR: A restaurant focused on providing good food in a comfy atmosphere while suffering from a lack of focus on service.

We made reservations for brunch today for a group of five people. Upon arriving, we were quickly seated in a booth that seats four and a chair was provided for the fifth person (me). Initially, the service was great. Our server introduced themself and brought our waters and first round of drinks. A member of my party needed an additional straw and another member decided to order hot tea. After waiting ten minutes for the straw I finally managed to make eye contact with our server and we received the straw. The hot tea arrived in phases over a span of 15-20 minutes. Our server admitted that they forgot to bring the tea.

The wait for our entrees wasn’t bad and everything that we ordered was delivered. With the exception of the Nutella waffles (way too gooey), everyone loved their meal. We asked for a new set of waffles w/ Nutella on the side and they did bring us a fresh order.

I ordered The Hungry Monkey and everything was delicious. Ham, bacon, sausage (the star of the show), eggs, and biscuits all on one plate. One of my companions raved about the chicken and waffles and another companion had great things to say about the shrimp and grits.

As we finished our meals we asked for several takeout containers. We received the containers, but had to ask another employee for a bag.

When it was time to pay, we noticed that we were changed twice for the Nutella waffles, not a big deal. We had the check corrected by a gentleman who appeared to be a manager. He also mentioned that the 20% gratuity was removed since we were only a party of five. Our server apologized for adding it and summed it up as an oversight. As a person of color, I can’t help but wonder if it was added on purpose to ensure that we tipped an amount that the server felt was appropriate.

While the food would easily be reason enough for a return visit, the service left me feeling like I might want to try someplace else if I’m in the area.

Great place for wings — they were perfectly cooked and full of flavor! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The waffle was a bit off for my taste, but everything else made up for it. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving good wings and a lively spot to relax with friends

What a cute restaurant. Monkeys on shelves, in paintings and wallpaper. The service, amazing! We were greeted by the host and the owner. Our waiter came over immediately with menus. They had many flavors of tea but didn’t have nondairy milk. The owner checked on us, refilled our glasses, and made sure we were satisfied and told us about their live events. Although I went for half a chicken and waffles and got chicken strips instead, I understood the reason for the change. I enjoyed the presentation and the flavor. I was satiated! There were many types of groups there- families with small children, older couples, and a large group of young adults. Everyone seemed satisfied. I’m going back! I recommend you visit too.

What an amazing meal wow!! We had the harvest sangria (one white and one red wine), and shared a steak flatbread and a birria burger between two. The portions were very good, and the food was just delicious. The drinks were so nice and seasonal. Only minor thing was a delay in food (not even that long but the waitress apologized), but they were super busy and had live music on so we weren’t expecting it to be super quick. Really enjoyed the vibe and the music while we waited.

This place looks amazing and the vibe and decor is nice. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but the fact that a table of 4 had to wait an hour and a half for a meal is beyond belief. No apologies or explanations at all. The food on my plate arrived cold and the order was also taken incorrectly. Nothing was offered to meditate or correct the situation, and when brought up to the manager who I believe is named Joshua he seemed to have not cared at all and in a sarcastic unbothered tone gave a blank answer as well. MEDIOCRE SERVICE AND FOOD AT ITS WORST. BTW what server is told 2 extra eggs on the side and says okay, and brings you the two already included poached eggs on the side cold instead and soggy wet spinach that doused a muffin. LITERALLY THE MOST PRICEY WASTE OF TIME.

Also, from previous reviews that are left that are negative. The negative condescending responses much like the manager in person speaks volumes about what they truly think and how they conduct themselves and express themselves to paying customers.

I always saw this restaurant while driving on the Berlin turnpike, finally decided to stop by. I was on a time crunch, I was going to see Jurassic Park, so I was kinda rushing. The service was good, the drinks were good, the wings were really good. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado it was really good. I will definitely go back to try different things on the menu.
