LOVED this place!!! Great, fun atmosphere and decor. Very good service with Jack! Food delicious! We both had the shrimp basket. No tails and very good with fresh chips plus liked the coleslaw. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area again!

Great Food, service and atmosphere. Place was not busy at all, walked in we where kindly greated. We endend up ordering the Poon sliders and Shrimp basket after a great well put together description.
WOW, the 6 sliders where no joke and pilled high, the shrimp was hot a delicious. I could have the sliders everday, perfect roast beef, hoarsradish, jalepenions cheese and gravy. The Shrimp taked awesome as well crispy, moist and flavorful! All this at 9pm!!
Back story, we got into town late about 830pm. Checked into our Hotel. Nothing much was open. The front desk at our hotel said the harpoon was open late. We got there at about 9pm. Looked empty no cars. We where gonna leave but decided to go in and check it out. So Glad we did!!!! What a Great Local spot for Great food and drinks!

Generous portions. Decent prices. Great service. Went with a group and sampled several things. Chicken strips, shrimp, wavy chips all good. I got the Caesar salad. Best in Florida and I ordered everywhere I could find. Has a strong flavor picky pallets may not agree.

Absolutely delicious seafood. Local shrimp and flounder, and it doesn’t touch batter unto you order it. That’s how I like it. Shrimp Po’Boy with house made remoulade was outstanding, and the wife’s flounder was crisp and delightful. The bar itself is full of cool oddities to look at, and the staff is incredibly polite and on the ball. We will absolutely be back.

Stopped in for lunch. Tammy was our server (awesome). Started with Bushwackers. Got Crab & Crawfish Cakes, Pepper Balls & Roast Beef Po Boy. Everything was amazing & delicious. We are going back for sure. Thank you, ya’ll.

Went back 4 days later for dinner. Amazing. King Cake & Swampalaya. The bar is awesome. Handmade with a twist of locals. Incredible piece.

Thank you again

We discovered The Flying Harpon from their great marketing/coupon idea during the Christmas Parade. We went for dinner a few days later and loved it! We had the King Cake, 9inch shrimp Po’Boy, oyster fritters, crab crawfish cakes & drinks. Everything was super yummy, especially the shrimp & King Cake! Appreciate the late dining hours too which is rare in PSJ. Will definitely be back to try more!

Had to stop in with all the recommendations we have been getting about this place! We had a little bit of everything and my goodness it did not disappoint!
Flounder, shrimp, crab legs, po boy and the king crab cake!! The drinks were phenomenal as well!!

Demi took care of us from the moment we stepped in the door and we instantly felt at home. She was the sweetest and so full of southern hospitality. We will for sure be coming back in every visit! Definitely a staple to our yearly trips to the area!

Be sure to get the Swamp Gravy.it reminded me of an etouffee. Chunky goodness and a creamy roux.

The debris is oh so tasty!

Come in and be sure to get some Conecuh sausage.

What fabulous food and some of the finest staff around. Tammy treated us like family and was a delight as were the other staff that we met. We shared the following, (names along with descriptions): Savory Boudin King-Cake: House made Boudin and smoked gouda cheese rolled into a fresh pastry and topped with hot pepper jelly and crispy bacon.
Swamp Gravy: Creole cheese made with blackened seafood, bacon and Conecuh sausage.
Kernfish Krawbread: Spicy house cornbread chocked full of crawfish, peppers and onions topped with a poached egg and a spoon full of sour cream.
Every single bite was an explosion of flavor and delight! We will definitely be returning to try out more dishes.

Happy to see the Harpoon open up. It’s going to be a fun place. The bar is excellent and the service was great. We had lunch for the time… Gumbo.. amazing, the fried okra was top notch. I chose the baked potato, which was OK but too much for me. Julie was great helping us. We will be back.
