This place is a gem where you can get brunch/lunch every day with the same menu, same prices, and same great food & service. It’s so casual and a perfect place to enjoy a bite-sip if you are craving brunchy food and/or a tee-off. They recently simplified the menu and updated some of the dishes, which scared me, but… it was a great decision! My favorites are still there: Hollywood Omelette for healthy, Hot Dirty Bird Waffle for hearty, and Firecracker Shrimp for haute! Don’t let the Chill vibe fool you… the food is Fire delicious and prices are fair! Nod to their only female chef who does amazing with plating the food to look pretty – that matters!

This place was fabulous!!! We had the sweetest waitress. I wish I had gotten her name. The food was amazing. Cranberry apple butter was divine! The atmosphere was so peppy and happy. We will definitely be back in years to come!

Walking into The Flying Biscuit was a completely unexpected pleasure. I was immediately struck by how open and meticulously maintained the space is. The service matched this positive impression; the team was attentive and engaging throughout my meal.
What truly elevates this place is the unique atmosphere — it’s bursting with color and energy, yet simultaneously provides a genuinely relaxing environment to dine in.
The food was exceptional as well. Grits are something I almost always pass on, but the version here was a revelation: incredibly creamy and packed with flavor. My Mardi Gras pancakes were a delightful indulgence too. For a truly satisfying breakfast, I give The Flying Biscuit my enthusiastic endorsement.

I was very pleased with my service. I came with 9 people and we had Samantha as a waitress. She was phenomenal and elevated our experience beyond what we could imagine. Ask for her if you go!

The atmosphere was rustic and comforting. I got some food with family and I enjoyed my whole experience. I walked in and immediately got seated. I ordered the Honey Butter Chicken Waffle with Loaded “Moon Dusted” Potatoes and a glass of milk. The food came out fresh and it tasted amazing. I will definitely start recommending this place to others.

I was surprised by the quality of the food and the high level of service offered by the staff. Makes a great place for a low stress first date or a casual 2-4 person business meeting. I tried the steak and eggs and it definitely met my expectations. The price was on the upper side of average, but I wouldn’t say overpriced. Overall I enjoyed my first visit and I would like to try it again.

EVERYTHING was DELICUOUS! The grits are amazing, the bacon was crispy just how I like it and the French toast – I didn’t add any syrup just ate it with the honey anglaiase and strawberry topping. The biscuit was sooooooo soft, we will definitely be back for breakfast when we visit again. ❤️❤️

My grandchildren and I decided to try this restaurant on Saturday, November 1, 2025, Unfortunately, it was not the experience we expected. We were a party of 3 adults and a 7 month old baby. We arrived at approximately 1:00pm and there was a slight bit of a wait. But, the weather was really nice so we requested to be seated outside on the the patio, We were abruptly and immediately told (by who we believe was the manager) “I’m not serving outside.” We found that to be a bit confusing, since there were 2 ladies and their 2 dogs eating on the patio outside at the time of our request???

Nevertheless, we accepted a booth inside the restaurant. Our waitress Alicia was pretty fast in taking and providing our order, pleasant, and personable. We had 2 separate tickets – (1) 1 dirty bird, 1peach/mango waffles, 1 loaded potatoes, and (2) 1 Fried green tomatoes, 1 dirty bird, and 1 loaded grits (ticket #6827).

All of the portions were sizable EXCEPT for the $9.99 Fried Green tomatoes. There were 4 very, very, small thinly sliced tomatoes with a large dollop of cream cheese on top of each slice. When I questioned our waitress about the portion size, she stated this was the last order of Fried Green Tomatoes that would be served at the restaurant because they were being discontinued along with some other items. I’m not sure what that had to do with the $9.99 price I paid for a full order, but I truly felt like I was ripped off!! In addition, the only portion of my meal that was really worth what I paid was the “Loaded Grits” Overall $31.36 for a brunch that included 4 thinly tomatoes and average tasting food was a bit much!! Needless to say, this was my first and last visit to the Flying biscuit.

All in all, not too bad. I’ll start with the awesome, which was the stuffed French toast and the chicken and waffles. Those alone are worth a trip.

Biscuits are pretty good, and I personally enjoyed the apple butter.

The grits have sour cream or something in them that not a fan of. Eggs were scrambled and a bit slimy.

Biggest miss was the service. Server was kind enough, but when you have different people bringing the food out from the person who took the order, you have to have good attention to detail, which is not what happened. They brought half of our meals, and I’m pretty sure I watched my stuffed French toast go to the table behind me (especially since they were seated and ordered after me). Then they brought me French toast light which was incorrect. Then they finally went back and grabbed a stuff and toast, which I’m assuming was originally intended for the guy behind me because it was already ready. Thankfully it was delicious.

For those wondering, moon dust appears to be sugar.
