My daughter and I really enjoyed our breakfast on Black Friday. Tge beignets and that sauce that comes with it was delicious! I would like that sauce bottled up! Their dreamy grits are amazing! I got the biscuit with gravy and 2 chicken tenders. The gravy has a strong sage taste, which I didn’t care for. The chicken strips were very good! My daughter got the breakfast burrito and said it was good. The atmosphere and the wonderful service made it a place we will certainly keep on our list to visit!

The food is delicious. The steak was well seasoned and cooked exactly how I asked. My wife’s French toast was soft and Sweet. The biscuits are light and fluffy but not dry and come with a special house made apple butter which is very rich in apple flavor. I got my eggs scrambled and they turned out fluffy yet firm so it is easy to cut.
The big star is the grits. They call it creamy “dreamy” grits and the dreamy part is not an exaggation. The white cheddar is delicious with the grits.
My only complaint is the hot coffee was pretty lukewarm so the whipped cream never properly melted. Still tasted good.

It was a pretty good experience overall. We started with some drinks and the beignets donuts and they were so good! He had the piedmont omelet and he said it was alright, nothing special and I had one of the breakfast plates with a waffle on the side. My only complaint is that the grits were surprisingly cheesy other than that everything was quite alright. I think we ended up spending about $60ish including the tip. Would recommend!!

Been here twice now and I’ve got nothing but positive energy and delicious food! Today Cecily was our waitress and she made the brunch experience so much more enjoyable! You HAVE to try the grits they are absolutely delicious and the prices are super reasonable! 10/10 coming back again.

My fiance and I came here on a Sunday for brunch. We didn’t have to wait long to get seated & get our server to help us. Eric was super friendly and made sure he was clear on what I asked for since I made ordering a latte more confusing than it needed to be! We got the breakfast burrito & the Free-bird Benedict plate. The chicken was juicy in the Benedict, the latte was great and the burrito was flavorful! Overall it is priced well, in a nice spot, and the service was awesome! Thanks Eric & Flying Biscuit Cafe!

High hopes, limited results. We are greeted and seated quickly, the service was great, the atmosphere is decent. Food proportions are good just not a lot of flavor and overpriced. The Nashville Hot chicken and waffle apparently sped past the seasoning and had no heat. A bit of a let down.

First thing first. 3 adults and 1 infant came in for the first time for brunch. We were unknowingly automatically charged 18% gratuity and were given a receipt with a tip line to fill again. If I didn’t find the final credit card charge suspicious in the store and requested to check the whole receipt again. We would walk out of the restaurant paying 18% tips twice! Our server did not mention anything about he would charge us 18% gratuity and passed us a receipt with a line for tip. I don’t like the dishonesty here! If I didn’t go above and beyond and went to cashier to investigate, I would be tricked 100%. He assured me that it’s the restaurant policy that 18% gratuity will be automatically charged to parties of 4 & more without telling the customers. (This info was not found and informed to us and we are actually 3 adults and 1 infant). Just an extra information for future customers!

Besides that, I enjoyed my food and Philip was actually attentive to our table. The wait was tremendous tho. It’s Sunday so the wait was expected by us. We joined the waitlist for 30mins. Then we got to sit at the table around 12:30p.m and walked out of the restaurant 2 hours later. The food and drink came very late. We came for brunch experience and ended up having a late lunch..

Overall, food and atmosphere were great. But the paying experience threw me off a lot It felt like a fraud and rob.

Stopped by The Flying Biscuit in Mobile and had a great breakfast. The waffle came out golden and fluffy with a scoop of butter that melted right in. The eggs were soft, the bacon was perfectly crispy, and the grits were smooth and creamy.

The bright sunflower mural and colorful vibe just make the whole place feel good. If you’re in Mobile and want a simple, solid breakfast, this is a great spot.
