The Flying Biscuit Cafe never disappoints! The biscuits are perfectly fluffy, the grits are creamy and flavorful, and the brunch dishes are always fresh and satisfying. The staff are welcoming and the relaxed, cheerful atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for breakfast or brunch with friends or family. A must‑visit for Southern comfort food done right!

One word? Underwhelming. We have wanted to try this place for a while now, but when we come by it’s always packed. That’s a good thing, right? Meh. I don’t understand the hype. Walking in, there is a faint stench of raw sewage or some other unknown foul smell in the air. Party of 2 here, seated in a corner and promptly forgotten. A waitress finally comes over seemingly surprised we hadn’t been waited on at which time we placed our drink and food order as to not get further behind. ✔️Eggs Benedict and Classic Chicken and Waffle. Food was decent with the exception of the chicken which was obviously cooked earlier in the morning and left on a warmer. It was tough and hard to chew. Had to ask for butter and extra syrup- sidebar -why not leave condiments on the tables so customers can eat and servers can move on? Table next to us was also up and in search of jelly. Too many people and too few servers. Probably won’t be back for a repeat on this one.

Always love grabbing a bite from Flying Biscuit! Our go to is the shrimp and grits. Fantastic! So much flavor! The grits are so deliciously creamy! Today I had the firecracker shrimp wrap and it was wonderful. Loved that it had plenty of fresh avocado in it! Served with French fries that were nice and crisp. Of course I had to add a side of grits!

This was my first time coming here and it definitely will not be the last! I loved everything about this place. The atmosphere was quaint and calm, the options were of variety and had things I had never had before. If I could have ordered everything I would have. The service was top notch, our waitress was attentive and answered any questions plus offer suggestions. My mouth is watering just thinking of going back. The food was plentiful and seasoned perfectly. You get a great amount of food for the price as well.

I have to update. Sad news from Flying Biscuit Epps Bridge. The menu has changed and not for the best. We are bummed but it was bland to put it nicely. Very disappointing. Hoping they bring the original menu and that amazing staff from 4 months ago back soon!

My original review – This place is so good! The service is fabulous, Anna was cheerful and so dang efficient! The FOOD is outstanding. Get the grits! Even if you think you don’t like them! Delicious!

Flying biscuit has been one of my favorite restaurants since before I moved here. However, lately, the quality of the food has been very poor. I order the same thing almost every time and the last few times, my omelette is overcooked and doesn’t include all the ingredients. I’m going to try a different location because Epps Bridge is slacking.

Adison was one of best servers i’ve had in a long time, he came to have conversation and check on me often. He was very kind to me and my friend, as someone who has been a server i would definitely recommend him!! The mimosa flight was delicious; i got the cranberry, pineapple, apple, and peach juices as the mixture. I also really recommend the Freebird Benedict, it was such a savory combination to go with the sweeter mimosas. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

Overall I like their food. The grits are always worth getting. The eggs benedict was lacking though. The sauce is too sweet and the eggs were overcooked (not runny). It also would be a lot better with tomato and maybe avocado.

Eat in, don’t take out. My biscuit wasn’t cooked all the way and we didn’t get utensils on our to go plate. Tastes good, but stick around for follow up service. A dad was sticking around just to complain about another to go order when we arrived.
