I’ve visited several Flying Biscuit locations throughout the Atlanta area, and most visits have been pleasant. On this particular day, we found ourselves near the Brookhaven location for an appointment and decided to stop in for breakfast. Fortunately, there was only a minimal wait, and we were seated almost immediately.

Our server appeared a bit overwhelmed, and it took a few minutes before she reached our table to take our drink order. My companion ordered a coffee, but when it arrived, it was lukewarm at best. We had to flag the server down to request a hotter cup.

We both ordered a classic breakfast—eggs over medium, grits, chicken sausage (and bacon), and of course, their signature biscuit. The flavor of the food was quite good, and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, the temperature of the meal left something to be desired. The grits were barely warm, which has been a recurring issue I’ve noticed across a few Flying Biscuit locations. I personally love my grits served piping hot, so that was a slight letdown.

Despite this, I still enjoy Flying Biscuit overall. The food quality and taste keep me coming back, but this visit highlighted an opportunity for improvement in both service consistency and meal temperature. I’d return, but I hope they fine-tune the small details that make a breakfast more enjoyable.

Why do yall pack the biscuits in gravy in a Mac n cheese container. This is the second time I’ve ordered from this location and this is the ONLY flying biscuit that packs it like this. Could you please pack it on a plate or at least ask in the online checkout if we would prefer it packed like a side dish or placed on a plate.. it seemed like there was more gravy than biscuits when it’s packed like this. Basically a gravy soup to-go

Had a wonderful time. Was sat quickly and was greeted by Cinthia promptly. She was so kind and attentive.

As out of staters, we forgot about that alcohol couldn’t be served until 11 am on Sunday’s. Once we had eaten, we placed a drink order and she allowed us to move to a patio table to enjoy.

Thank you again Cinthia!

I unfortunately had a bad experience at this location on Mother’s Day. The service was lackluster and took forever to get refills, as well as to get food. When the food finally arrived, my mom’s pancakes were lukewarm and my potatoes were cold and hard/uncooked. I asked for new potatoes and the “new” ones were hot but still hard and tasted like they’d been made 30 minutes ago and heated up right before they got to me. When I asked for fresh ones, they told me I could have kettle chips (which I got but weren’t great either – looked like the bottom of an old bag). My mom waited so long to get butter that the pancakes went cold and the butter wouldn’t melt. Disappointing over all. I’ve had great experiences at other metro ATL locations (which were much busier) and am sad this was my mom’s first flying biscuit experience. We won’t be coming back to this location.

A little noisy at time. They accommodate large groups. Food was good as all the other flying biscuits.

I can’t say enough good things about our visit to Flying Biscuit! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and southern charm, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was our server, Oscar.
Oscar was incredible — attentive without being overbearing, fast without ever making us feel rushed. He had the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness that made us feel genuinely cared for. The moment our water cups were even halfway empty, he was there with a refreshing refill. Every question we had about the menu was answered with confidence and enthusiasm (you could tell he really knew his stuff), and he made sure everything came out just right!

We absolutely love joining friends at this establishment! The young lad Bryan served us this morning. He was spectacular! I recommend the Bacon Lovers BLT. Also get your potatoes!
