Their grits… creamy dreamy white cheddar grits… are unbeatable. Especially with the spicy shrimp to complement them. Today, though, I did a side of them along with a good ole bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. ‘Twas perfect Hearty bacon ✔️ A fluffy yet dense egg ✔️ perfectly chosen cheese ✔️ and the biscuit…ugh sooo good-> Crisp and juuust slightly browned shell, airy and buttery interior, and a decomposition during the melding of butters and bacon grease it just got better every single bite (save the middle for the last bite) YUMMMMMMY THANKS GUYS!

We were looking for an all day breakfast place near my family‘s home in Atlanta. This place happened to be literally around the corner. It’s a very lively room and the service was excellent. The servers were friendly and nice! And the food was excellent! I love grits and their cheese grits were to die for. Living in California I don’t get to have grits often and being from the south it’s one of my favorite things… Was so happy to find this place nearby.

I had an excellent experience at The Flying Biscuit in Atlanta! The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded expectations. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles, and it was incredible — crispy, juicy chicken with just the right amount of heat and sweetness, paired perfectly with fluffy waffles. My wife had the Biscuits and Gravy along with the French Toast, and she loved every bite. The biscuits were soft and buttery, and the gravy was rich and flavorful, while the French toast was perfectly cooked with a nice balance of sweetness. It’s the kind of food that makes you want to come back just to try more of the menu.
As great as the food was, what really made the visit stand out was the service. Our server, Gigi, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and had such a positive energy that made the whole meal even more enjoyable. She checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s rare to find that level of service paired with such great food, but Gigi really made the experience memorable.
The Flying Biscuit has a relaxed and welcoming vibe, perfect for brunch, breakfast, or a casual meal. Between the incredible food and Gigi’s top-notch service, this is easily one of my favorite spots in Atlanta now. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Always a pleasure!! I visited on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy. There were lots of people dining in yet I was seated immediately. I had one of my faves: the stuffed french toast combo with eggs, grits, chicken sausage, a biscuit, and a glass of orange juice. I’m expecting and I was literally craving their grits. It was exactly what I wanted!! My food was hot and flavorful! The service was fast and attentive. The atmosphere was a bit cold but clean. Definitely worth visiting! ☺️

Gigi was truly exceptional. We are from out of town…she was helpful with giving us her honest unbiased opinion on other food places. We really appreciated having her as our server today.

Been a few times and always yummy; especially enjoy the seasonal specials! Two weeks ago I had the apple pancakes, so delicious.

This place looked great to have brunch with my fiancée after her doctor’s appointment. I got there before she did and waited at a table. I told the server that she would be here in just a few minutes and I ordered a water. A few minutes came and she showed up. Fast forward 10-15 minutes, we still haven’t seen our server anywhere. The restaurant only had 3 other tables occupied at the time. We went to the front and let a different server know we’re ready to order. Another 5 minutes went by and nothing. We went back up to the front again to see what was going on and as soon as our server saw us, he turned around and ran back into the kitchen. We decided to get up and leave right there from the baffling poor service. I have never seen a server actively hide from their customers in a nearly empty restaurant. I cannot rate the food at this place since nothing was ever even ordered. This experience has been an insane disappointment and I can confidently say I’ll never visit again. Thanks for nothing and wasting me and my fiancées time. If the owners are reading this, you probably need to talk to your heavyset, Hispanic, male server on the morning shift of 30 January because they are actively losing you money and customers.

Apparently I’m broke because aside from the food just being ok, I was charged $13 for a side of bacon!!! Like ok welcome to Atlanta I guess because that insane! The service here was very good, everyone was polite, absolutely no complaints. I ordered several things to taste and I’ll be honest I was disappointed. I’ll start with the positives! The potatoes were really good and the biscuits were amazing and fresh! Everything else was bland and the chicken on the chicken and waffles was chewy in a bad way like very hard to consume. The French toast was dry and tasteless! The omelette was unseasoned. I paid in full as I should but didn’t eat most of the meal with the exception of that expensive side of bacon I made sure to eat that because for what I paid for 3 slices I could have bought a whole pack of bacon!

We visited the flying biscuit today at the recommendation of a relative and was able to be seated almost immediately. I ordered a waffle with soft, scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and a side of their creamy grits grits. The grits taste amazing however, I like my food extremely hot and it was just warm. That is the only criticism I will provide. The taste of my food was amazing and the waffle was light and tasted fresh and homemade. The chicken sausage was very flavorful and the eggs were served exactly as I requested, soft scrambled. The atmosphere in the restaurant is laid back and the server was attentive. I would DEFINITELY return here for breakfast. I did notice in the way out it was becoming extremely busy at about 1 PM. There are several locations and this is a excellent place to have breakfast.
