Never been here before, but I’m so glad I finally did! The service was impeccable, and the food–good lawrd–the food is good. We were wonderfully served by Shay, and she perfectly suggested the delicious Hangover Hash because there were so many delicious looking options to choose from. It was a great choice! That, and the fried green tomatoes, and hot honey chicken waffle.

I had the shrimp and grits. I was blown away by the amount of flavor in such a simple dish! The grits come with a perfectly baked biscuit that holds its shape and doesn’t crumble when applying the apple butter provided on the side. Mark was our waiter. He was friendly, courteous and efficient. Will be back soon!

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were approached by Damon to explain that they were short staffed and that it would be a wait until we could be served. We decided to stay and although it did take some time, we receive outstanding food and service. It made the wait worth it. Me and my family will definitely be coming back to experience more good food and good times at flying biscuit. Thank you Mark and Damon!

The food is amazing! My husband got the “ Pancake Tacos” and he loved them. They were very filling. I got the “ Free Bird” and it was creamy and filling. The waitress Cynthia was very sweet, and helpful. The art work is also beautiful to look at.

The atmosphere was very warm and relaxing. Shay was our server, very polite and friendly. The presentation of the meal was very pleasing to the eyes. I just love my experience all together. Stop by you won’t be sorry you did.

Had a doctors appointment nearby and asked Siri for “breakfast near me.” What a surprise to find this gem right across the street. Fairly empty when I arrived early, but filled up fast. Wonderful service, great hot and fresh food and very comfortable. Charleston has a dearth of breakfast places (IMHO) but put this one on your list. It checks all the boxes.

The biscuits here are ELITE and our waitress Cynthia was phenomenal. The bacon was crispy and delicious but the star of the show was the grits!

Our waitress Leila was super nice. Service was excellent. I had the freebird. Be prepared to get a to go box. It was huge. It was very good. The grits were also spot on. Make time to stop in.
It’s well worth the stop!

As many of these reviews start “if I could give zero stars I would” unfortunately is what comes to mind. This by far was the most horrible experience I have ever had in my entire existence at a restaurant. Our brand new waitress forgot to put in our food which we all understand can happen as a new server. However, we waited over an hour for our food to come out while watching all her other tables eat and leave. We, of course, asked if we could comp the meal as any customer with a brain would and she acted surprised… then comes back and says best she can do is 10%… we had also asked her multiple times how long it would be and she kept saying “soon”… no soon was seen. We then were overcharged for our meals which are listed lower than what our receipt said. We did not notice this until we got to the car as we are in a bit of a hurry at this point to leave. Then my friend goes back inside and gets the runaround and told nothing can be done until 30 minutes after close by their manager Vanessa… however when my husband called so someone could speak to them a bit more clearly and calmly he was told there was no manager. So, I’m really confused on how this is good or proper service or in a single way acceptable. I would recommend everyone find another spot. This borderlines on a legit scam. 0/10 all the way around.
