I was served at the flying biscuit in five points by the most unprofessional server Kenyatta. First, she told me there were no more biscuits, which is fine but gave us no explanation unlike the other servers. She offered potatoes, but I’m gonna insert a picture of how she served the potatoes. Not a smaller plate, not in a to-go container, but on a LID. She then came back with food in her mouth talking over my food, because I asked another server about the biscuits. We had to ask another server for our drinks because she never would come back to check on us. Overall this is the worst location I’ve visited and will not be back.

The atmosphere is super fun, love the staff. Had to wait forty minutes for food and some of the food had been sitting around. Super tasty. Next time I’ll probably order to go. Dont go on a lunch break. Food is tasty just food say around too long. You can tell.

My only complaint was the food wasn’t hot. It came to the table way to fast. That tells me it wasn’t made prepared to order. Also that chicken sausage sucks. Can someone please add pork sausage as an option?

Sunday brunch choice for us recently.
Be ready for a wait during the typical meal times.
On our visit, the dining area was dominated by college/20s adults providing a fun a lively atmosphere.
The menu is quite extensive with nice variety. The wife had a basic breakfast plate (eggs, bacon, biscuit). I had the chicken and waffle plate. No complaints with either dish.
They offer a basic bar ( we saw beer/wine / margarita’s coming out) and a busy table service.
I’d eat here again.

I’ve always enjoyed going for Sunday brunch. The food is very good and plentiful, and the mimosa are delicious! This week I used them for catering an office lunch for 50 people. I ordered shrimp, grits, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and salad. It came biscuits and the apple butter. It was so much food, more than enough to feed everyone. The food arrived hot, on time, and delivered personally by John Robert. Don’t hesitate to utilize them for catering!

This place is super yummy (depending on what you order) but inconsistent.
Sometimes the service is good. Sometimes the food is what you expect.
However, I will say with certainty that if you order the grits bowl, that will be the best grits you ever have every single time! The omelettes are also pretty good but they up charge a lot. I would stay clear of the pancake tacos and moon dusted potatoes. Both are very boring and bland and the potatoes are usually overcooked.
It is also very busy on the weekends and you cannot make reservations ahead of time. The parking is also ridiculous so be prepared. You may have to park at the Food Lion across the street.

The decor is cute. The floor… removed tile showing a damaged concrete slab. (They would likely have to close down two weeks to get it replaced..) The rest of the place is gorgeous! The food, PHENOMENAL! The staff is friendly and quick.

Good food, good service. We enjoyed the French Toast, grits, chicken waffles, and our other food. It was a tad too loud inside. Main weak point was the nearly $5 “iced mocha latte” that tasted like hot coffee poured over ice with 2% milk added (no chocolate, not espresso). I’d go back for the food, but skip the beverage options.

Breakfast!! Chicken sausage is really yummy!! Loved the Dirty Bird! The spicy and sausage gravy are a good mix! Great flavors!!! Portion sizes are huge! The grits were different, a creamy grit vs Maryland style grit.
Staff were friendly!

Was there this morning! Service was fair but very slow. Server never asked how was everything. There was lots of food left on everyone’s plates. I glanced at the booth behind ours – lots of food left on those plates, too. Granddaughter overheard them complaining about their food, too!

Food was horrible! My egg omelette was over cooked – very dry & meat pieces were tough. “Fluffy” biscuit fell apart & was entirely too salty for me to eat. I recently ate at The Flying Biscuit in West Ashley Charleston SC area. It was delicious. This was such a great disappointment!
