We ordered the Southern Scramble and the Breakfast Extravaganza, and honestly, this place delivered on every level. The eggs were perfectly fluffy and loaded with flavor, the fillings were generous, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
But the real stars? The biscuits and grits. Absolutely out of this world. The biscuits were pillowy, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth good, and the grits were creamy, rich, and seasoned just right — the kind that make you slow down and savor every bite.
This is true Southern comfort food that feels indulgent without being heavy, and it’s clear why The Flying Biscuit has such a loyal following. Cozy, satisfying, and consistently delicious — we’ll definitely be back.

Was visiting a friend who recently moved in the area. It was their first time coming here and also mine. Wanted some nice breakfast and this place had nice ratings. The service is fine. The atmosphere is what i would expect from chattering diners. The decor was great. Loved the painted artsy images painted everywhere in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food didn’t reach the same height of the environment for me. I ordered a Hollywood omelette with mixed fruit and added chicken sausage. They say people eat with their eyes, well, the omelette looked really sad. I’ve made more vibrant and better tasting omelettes. The mixed fruit was good. It was the best thing that came with my order. The chicken sausage was hard and dry and barely warm. My friend thought his potatoes were overly salty and couldn’t eat them.
The order came out rather fast and so it makes me think the food in particularly the sausage and potatoes weren’t cooked to order and felt more like food that’s been sitting under warming lights.
I wasn’t wowed over nor was my friend, but, that was the experience. Others may be fond of this place. I wouldn’t sway anyone from going, but, I’m not coming back.

The food is delicious and served so quickly that it’s piping hot yumminess. I’ve had several dishes and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is casual, eclectic, and a bit noisy; so if you’re looking for an intimate place, forget that and come on in for the good food, great service and chill atmosphere. Bonus: dog friendly patio seating!

Tried Flying Biscuit Cafe after hearing a lot about their biscuits and gravy, so I ordered that with chicken. It was decent-not bad, but I’ve definitely had better. The location is nice, the vibe is casual and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. Lots of parking available and prices are very reasonable. Overall, a solid spot if you’re nearby, but not something I’d go out of my way for.

I tried this place because I love biscuits plus they don’t have this in NYC. The mini Shrimp and Grits is delicious the tomato sauce really compliments the dish. My only complaint is that I wish the biscuit was warmer but the apple butter that came with it was good though. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick. Everyone was very friendly.

Great service. Food was ok but a little too salty and toxic for me. My daughter loved the chicken and waffles. It was her first time trying it. I probably won’t be back because I’m more of a clean eater and when I saw what kind of syrup they were refilling the syrup bottles with that just did it for me.

Flying Biscuit is so delicious! This is definitely a great brunch spot for anyone coming to eat good food & have a couple of drinks. Charli is the best waitress here so if you come here and are able to, ask to sit in here section. I know the next time I come I will definitely be asking if she is working. She was quick, down to earth, and made the decision process easy when I was stuck between what to order. I would give Charli 10 stars if I could. I will definitely be back! Thank you Charli soooo much for your excellent superb customer service.
