Stopped by on a Sunday morning and the place was packed—a good sign of quality food! The service was quick, the coffee was hot, the pop was cold, and the food came out promptly. Everything was delicious.
We tried the breakfast burrito, which was absolutely loaded with all the good stuff, and the classic breakfast with hash browns and sausage patties—both hit the spot.
The location makes it even more unique. Since it’s at the local airport, we got a free “airshow” while we ate, watching planes take off and land. If you enjoy all things aviation, the atmosphere here is delightful and adds something extra to the meal.

Balmy March 7 th day and brunch at the Fly Inn.. Stacey , our server super pleasant, accommodating and ON IT with refilling our coffees! They were happy to seat us outside, no attitude or trouble about wiping off the tables– SURE! Stacey said!

An unassuming cafe at the Plainwell municipal airport. Our party of 8 was quickly seated. Service was excellent and efficient and the food was plentiful and delicious! We were lucky enough to get to watch a helicopter take off while we were there and we were all enthralled. Will definitely be back!

What a delightful little place! We took our grandkids for lunch. The food was very good and the staff so very friendly. We sat on the small patio so they could fly their “paper planes” the restaurant gave them and watch a couple of planes take off. We will be back.

What a wonderful diner by the airstrip. Fun atmosphere with pictures of airplanes and owners lining the walls. Country fried steak was done perfectly, and the thin-sliced home fries were delicious. Pro tip, add the onion!
Coffee was in-par with most diners, but I tend to like more bold roasts.
One last thing: They have homemade corned beef hash!

This is such a cool place. Not too far off the highway. Right next to the Plainwell airport. The staff are so friendly and kind and good with kids. The food is so delicious and great portions. We will definitely be back!
