The Flour Shop crew went above and beyond to make our little girl’s tea party birthday party a success! Neither of us had had any prior experience planning a tea party and they took my tiny idea and made it so special. The buttercream cakes were out of this world delicious along with the cookie sandwiches topped off with the most delicious hot chocolate, like the kind you find in Europe!

My parents recently celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary in Ames. I was in charge of providing cookies for the event. I was so excited to give our new Iowa Falls bakery, The Flour Shop, an opportunity to bake the cookies for me. The staff was so attentive to all of my wishes and requests, and when I picked up the cookies the day of the party, they had done a beautiful job bringing my vision for the cookies to life! We had chosen to go with an assortment of heart-shaped frosted sugar, monster, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and oatmeal raisin cookies. All of the cookies got rave reviews from the party guests, and several people were able to take a few of the cookies home at the end of the event! Each type of cookie was delicious, fresh, and beautifully made and decorated! I would encourage everyone to give The Flour Shop an opportunity to provide baked goods for your next special event. We are so blessed to have a bakery like this in our small community!
