Surprised by the high praise for this place, I’m guessing it’s just due to the lackluster area it’s in but the food and drinks went anywhere from average to slightly above average. Even the famous cinnamon buns were very average, not enough icing and slightly underbaked. I was debating whether I like Costcos better which isn’t a good sign. The service was amazing, great employees at this place. One and done or a skip unless you live in the area.

One of the best bakeries I’ve been to. The scones, cinnamon rolls and cinnamon roll cruffins are amazing. Yes, I said Cruffins! They have cinnamon roll crossiant/muffins. The staff is super friendly the prices are reasonable. Baking is an art and this place has definitely mastered it. Be sure to go next door to the café and grab a coffee or breakfast sandwich.

My sister and I chose a little cafe randomly to meet up for breakfast. The Flour Girl was our choose. We ate in the cafe with its light and airy decor, so cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got tge chocolate chip strawberry scone and my sister got the TFG Crossant, both were very good. Stopped in the bakery before we left to grab some goodies. We will be back

Great local breakfast/lunch coffee shop. Staff is always attentive and new building is amazing. They have grown quite a bit in a few years and have taken over the corner in Hebron. Local product and also fresh baked goods daily.

The best bakery around! Everything is so good! My favorites are the Everything But the Bagel and Cranberry Honey Walnut sourdough breads. All the sourdough breads are delicious! You must get the cinnamon rolls on Sunday morning. They open at 9am but you need to get in line by 8:45 as they go fast!!

While waiting for items from the cafe, I decided to hop over and check out the bakery. The welcoming, fresh smell of baked goods is the first thing to hit you. They had a nice variety of breads, muffins, cookies, and treats. Staff is knowledgeable and kind. A stop here won’t break the bank and your taste buds will thank you.

I’ve always found the staff to be super pleasant and friendly. But as far as everything else goes, the food, baked goods and drinks, just kinda average. Nothing mind blowing. But always a tasty treat to be found. The prices are high for just about everything, but to be expected for the only real game in the area.
Since they built their new building, they still managed to cramp themselves into a corner to the point where crowding can very quickly become overwhelming. The bakery has been rearranged and somehow more cramped than it was before. The cafe is poorly laid out, forcing you to dodge and weave just to do anything. They no longer post their daily/weekly offerings, but invite you to call or stop by. I’ve stopped by a few times only to find out that I don’t really want anything on offer and felt obligated to buy something just because I was already there.
I enjoyed coming here for the first year or so when we moved to the area. But since the start of the donations to build the new cafe started, I felt less inclined to come. The way it happened rubbed me the wrong way. Asking for people to pay for your already successful business to expand just comes off as a little tacky.

Hands down, Flour Girl is the best bread I have had
MANY breads from the area farm markets to Whole Foods and many bakeries in between. Flour Girl classic is always great. My favorite is the winter bread – berry/nut! But they are all amazing. The texture is perfect, it is hearty, you can toast it, it lasts, and is a crowd pleaser. I go out of my way to find a reason to drive to Hebron!

I cannot speak on the cafe but I can speak on my first and only time at the bakery and it was not good. Bought a chocolate chip cookie and it was stale. Got a lemon cupcake and it had zero flavor. Got a brownie with walnuts, stale. Some round Nutella pastry, horribly stale, raspberry muffin stale. When we brought the box home and tried to sample them they were all stale and super hard. Why would they be selling this stuff? The girl that was putting the items in the box must have felt how hard everything was. I would be EMBARRASSED to be selling those to patrons. Gross.

I have officially stopped going here. The number of times they have gotten our order wrong is ridiculous. My advice… stay and check your food order before leaving. Everything at this cafe is just ok. It’s a nice place to visit…IF it’s not crowded, IF they don’t mess up your food order, IF they have their menu items in stock, IF you encounter a nice staff member, IF you have some cash to burn. The menu is expensive (prices are much higher now that the new cafe/barn has opened) and the staff can be quite cold or lovely depending on when you visit. When everything falls into place, you look around and think, “this is nice!”. Then, the service is slow, the building is crowded and noisy, they mess up your order and I’m back to, “this place is so overrated!” For the cost, I cannot depend on this cafe. I head over to Marlborough Bakery for a better experience.
