12-27-25. Wife remembers eating here in the early 70s. We found it on the map when driving thru in our RV. Once we rented a car we decided to return (75 miles) for dinner. She had calabash shrimp and deviled crab while I had flounder and scallops. All was good, shrimp and scallops were both excellent, along with the ice cold slaw and the tea. We ended up taking the sides, fries, baked potato and hush puppies home with us. If we return to the area, we would certainly stop again

The staff greeted us as soon as we entered the dinning area and proceeded to seat us. The onion rings were crispy and fresh. We ordered and got hamburger steak plate and shrimp half plate. My hamburger steak was delicious. The fries I got crispy, were very good, and slaw was very good. My wife said her shrimp were large and delicious. She said her baked potato was incredible. We will be back.

The food is typically fantastic, and service as well.
The oyster stew is acceptable. Sometimes, the oysters are a bit overdone, and they aren’t always properly cleaned. The waste sacs are sometimes left in.
They have a tendency to mess up orders if you ask for your main course to be cooked a certain way. If you ask for a rare steak, it will probably be overcooked. Or if you ask for something to be extra crispy or well done, chances are you’ll have to send it back to be corrected.

This place was good! It opened at 3:20 and there was a line out the door waiting to be let in, but the line was going fast and our party of 17 got in way faster than I expected. Food was great, atmosphere was good, server was great and they have all the kids a fall photo to color!

We’ve been eating here for a long time. I get the seafood platter and wife gets a whitefish plate. I love most everything on the plate. We love The Flounder but haven’t been in a while due to our age and health. I was a bit shocked at the new pricing. The waitress was nice as always and kept coming by. The only thing I might change is the deviled crab and the cocktail sauce. I know you can do better because I have eaten better elsewhere in this area. Also, put some info everywhere about buying some of the beautiful photo canvas if you still sell it. We actually miss the glassware but realize you’re trying to cut cost. Styrofoam is the most environmentally unsafe thing to use. Usually our family of 3 eats here for around $45-50 but today was $72. We did splurge on the onion rings which were great. Yes I always leave a tip. The only fluke tonight was ordering a baked potato but getting french fries. Otherwise we appreciate you very much.

There’s nothing better than hot crispy shrimp and fresh fish with good conversations among family! We celebrated my great aunts 73rd birthday and we were all full and very satisfied with our dinner. Our waitress, Kayla did not miss a beat keeping us from having to ask for anything because she was on top of that!
