So incredibly disappointed. The food’s great! Twice in a row we’ve ordered through Uber and have not received the $7 bottle of salsa verde that we paid for. We called, sat on hold, and the guy working the phones told us to put a note on our Uber order. Again, food’s great. They owe us money. ***updated for response*** Review was responded to, which I appreciate. Indicated that issue would be addressed with food preparers, so thank you for that.

Simple food is many times the best food. This is a very straightforward spot for Peruvian style roasted chicken . As this area of town is not known for really good food, I had driven by Flippin Chicken so many times thinking I should give it a try, but didn’t. I finally ventured in for a go and was pleasantly surprised.
The chicken has a nice spiced up flavor that I found incredibly delicious. The meat is moist with flavor all the way thru. It’s really good. The sauce provided was amazing with just the right bit of heat. Their fries are spectacular. Crunchy and still tender on the inside make these potatoes an A+. The half chicken came with a nice side salad.
I will definitely be back to sample more items. My suggestion is give it a try.

Had driven by this restaurant and decided to go out of our way today to give it a try. I must say, we are so glad that we did. I had the Chicken tenders and my wife tried the rice and chicken bowl. I must say that we are connoisseurs of chicken tenders and these do not disappoint. They are lightly breaded, which was a plus. The breading/chicken was perfectly spiced and cooked. The white meat was tender and juicy. The rice bowl was fantastic. Obviously, super fresh ingredients used. Be sure to try the Peruvian yellow sauce with the chicken tenders or the rice bowl. It’s difficult to describe the taste , but it is the perfect compliment to the chicken. As a side note…try the plantains. Delicious! The restaurant was very clean also and staff is super friendly. Next time we go we will save room for dessert because their choices look amazing. Thanks Flippin Chicken from a chicken tenders guy!

My husband got the sampler, and I ordered a salad bowl with fried rice and chicken tenders, tomatoes, onions, avocado and black beans. Everything was delicious, especially the special yellow sauce on my bowl—I’ll definitely be back for it!

The restaurant is simple, cost effective and great tasting. The menu is simple….chicken dishes with a Peruvian flare. The bowl I had more than filled me up but the fried yucca and plantain was the perfect ending. Anyone loving Latin food but want to get a Peruvian taste needs to go. If someone doesn’t like Hispanic food the chicken dishes would still satisfy them. I will be back to this gem.

We tried the whole chicken with rice black beans and plantains and Mac. Everything was great. Chicken was seasoned perfectly . Rice was nice and buttery . Black beans were a hit. Max and cheese was my least favorite but everything else was perfect! Will come back again!

The rotisserie chicken is outstanding, moist, and tasty. And the Chicha Morada is delicious. I loved the creamy mustard sauce. The salad was mediocre but everything was 5 star.

It’s really good Rotisserie chicken but I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s Peruvian chicken anymore. I can tell that they’re using Peruvian spices in the food, but they’re only using half the amount of spices in normal Peruvian chicken. I’m pretty sure they altered the recipe to accommodate customers in the neighborhood. The aji (green sauce) wasn’t spicy at all which is ironic because it’s a sauce made from chilies and the mayonesa de Polleria (yellow sauce) much more garlic than traditional….. But I repeat the food is actually really good. I just cannot call it Peruvian chicken. I’ve been to Peru. I’ve had the food and that’s just not quite it sorry

The food was fantastic! The tenders had a light breading that was consistently crunchy throughout, the rotisserie was juicy and had a flavorful skin, the chicken salad was perfect with a creamy sauce and large pieces of chicken, the fried rice was amazing and was perfect with the chicken.
As many local residents may know this location has been home to many places that have all came and went. I firmly believe that Flippin Chicken is the one to stay.
The staff is very helpful and will answer your questions. Service was very quick and all our food was delivered in about 5 minutes.
Definitely worth a visit to try something new.
