Such a hidden gem! We were visiting from Texas and decided to stop in and we were so glad we did. The food was amazing!! You have to try the blackened wings, they were seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. The view is unbeatable, and the whole vibe of the beer garden is just perfect for hanging out and relaxing. Everyone working there was so friendly and on top of things, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to next time we’re in town!

We had a great time at the Flats beer garden. First and foremost the service was incredible. The wait staff was extremely attentive and went above and beyond my expectations. Not to be dramatic but this may have been the best experience I have ever had a restaurant I mean 5 or more different servers came up through out our meal to check in or bring us something we asked for. My Diet Coke was refilled literally within a minute of it being empty. The food is also excellent. Fries are crispy cheese curds were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the pretzel was so soft and fluffy. Def worth the trip and also not to mention excellent views and we brought our dogs !!

We immediately felt like home here. Everyone who worked there came up to us and welcomed us with open arms. They offered us trail advice while in CO and gave us any advice we needed while on our stay. If you want a place to grab a delicious drink and tasty food while exploring Boulder, this is the place.

Great selection of drinks (both alcoholic and NA) and standard pub grub (recommend the chicken sandwich, chicken tortilla soup, and cheese curds; do not recommend their fries).
The owner, servers, and bartenders were all great; the staff was attentive and always looking to help/make our experience more convenient and comfortable.

Burgers and cheese curds were great. The fish sandwich was tasty. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Nice cozy place for a quick bite and a beer. Nice simple menu with nice beer selection. Will definitely stop in again when we are in the area.

Still a ripoff. I haven’t been to the place in probably over a year and a half. When the last time I was there, they were overpriced drinks and the food was bad.
And the service staff said that their place was amazing and they didn’t have to worry about prices or service.
I met a friend at the bar because they wanted to look at buying some of the wood carvings next to the beer garden.
While the staff was a little better, they wanted to into the conversation and when the hamburger was ordered and it did not come with the fries, And I need to chase down the server in order to complain about no fries with the burgers after the burger was almost eaten. His response was not that he was sorry, It was just that’s the way the kitchen works. Meanwhile, my $8 cup of green chili was served in a paper bowl. Very little cheese and no tortillas. For $8, I got about a cup of green chili.
When my friends fries came, they weren’t crispy, as requested several times to the server, and the server assured us that they would be crispy.
Well, drinks were six and a quarter, it’s $6.50. I had tried to convince my friends not to go to that place, as it had turned into an overpriced yuppie bar. But they did not want to go anyplace because the carvings were so close.
It’s a shame that the owners and the staff have gotten on a holier-than-thou attitude when this used to be a great little friendly dive bar. I just wonder how much longer they can trade off their old reputation when they used to have fish flies from Wisconsin, and it was a Green Bay Packer holdout.

My go to spot for out of town guests! Staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. Mountain views are stunning (even on overcast days) and the food was great. Cheese curds and the pretzel There is a large variety of beer too. Will be back!

We waited an hour to eat here because it had intrigued us when we had driven by days before. The day we went they were hai n water issues so they opened a bit later than usual. It was worth it!
