I especially enjoyed the crab claws—they were a standout. The lobster was decent, though not exceptional, but let’s be realistic: at a seafood buffet, you can’t expect Maine lobster quality without paying far more than $50 per person.
The live music added a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere that made the whole dining experience even better. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied.
Then, we made reservations on Saturday. It’s only Friday and Saturday starting at 5pm.
Anyway, the restaurant looks good and waiter were nice.
We arrived around 4:50pm and we’re waiting untill 5pm. The waitresses came to us and then “go ahead to start” so we are line up to get food. Looks are amazing! So, when I saw food I can’t wait to eat.
BUT, it was SO SALTY everything. We only tried 2 times plate and we drink water for 4 bottles. The waiter see our table then water bottle was empty then right away they brought new cold water. And when you remove skins (lobster tails, crab and shrimp) you can put it plate. Then, waiter was clean up and brought new plates quickly. It was great service.
And I ate lobster tails and mussels. But, this food leaves a bad aftertaste in my mouth. And shrimps are so dry. So, difficult to remove skins.
They had 2 different rice. One was paella and kind like fried rice. Both are uncooked.
Beef steak was stringy and difficult to bite off.
It was $49.99 for per person. If you spend money this much then different restaurants is better for you.
And if they put on name of food would be great. Because, they didn’t say anything. So, some food is not familiar to me. Please write it main ingredients and name then going to be kind for customers.
The ambience was elegant, open with large church like stained glass windows surrounding the place, decorative golden tile ceilings with a stage set for live entertainment.
As soon as the waitress gave us the okay to walk up, we were delighted by fresh seafood, succulent steaks, pork chops, chicken and crispy golden fried appetizers like calamari, fish cakes, and shrimps and yes, we can’t forget the lobster. It was so delicious and at a cost of only $49.99, we were totally satisfied.
The live band playing added a touch of class as we ate and casually walked back and forth to the buffet table to sample the feast before our eyes. They even sang ‘happy birthday’ as they brought out a traditional Portuguese treat for me.
We would highly recommend this restaurant to all our friends and family. We are already looking forward to trying their special brunch buffet happening from Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 2pm for only $12.99.
Staff was absolutely professional and knowledgeable. Food was a portuguese masterpiece… If you can’t afford to go to Europe specifically Portugal just enter through The Flames Castles doors and let them bring Europe to you.
Even the interior design is a portrait of Portugal and what they have to offer.
Absolutely spectacular.
I will be showing this gem off to all my family and friends that’s %100.
Thank you, The Flames Castle, for you hospitality, your professional service and your incredible food choices.
Absolutely amazing.
My favs were the grilled and cocktail shrimps and crab legs. Lobster was okay. Maybe having melted butter could have helped bc it was a little dry. Paella rice was really good but the seafood inside was overcooked as would be expected. Separate mussels dish was cooked
perfectly.
Service was amazing. They kept our table clear and made sure our drinks were replenished. Really sweet kind staff. Must visit fora date night or friends night out.
While we were thete, thetewas a reception as well so they are able to accommodate special events if needed.
