As someone who enjoys making BBQ and smoking meats, my wife and I always enjoy trying new places anywhere we travel. If you know what good BBQ is… steer clear of this place. This was edible if you were extremely hungry but the lowest quality BBQ I have ever had. The brisket was clearly cooked and then thrown in a pan, burned and then put on a plate. The ribs had the terrible taste of dirty smoke. And the chicken wings were beyond bland. The pulled pork was edible but had zero flavor. On a positive note our server Ash was wonderful from start to finish. Overall… what a waste of $68 and better BBQ has to exist in this town.

Me and my sister picked here for a nice meal on 5/19/2023 and it was horrible the fries where hard and old , hush puppies were overcooked and old. Mainly the size of my catfish was ridiculous they reminded me of chicken nuggets. I remember when this place opened the portion and sizes of catfish use to be awesome now not so much. We was hungry literally 30 minutes later.

Wow!! After our first visit to The Fishin’ Pig, ‘Wow’ keeps jumping into the conversation. The atmosphere is cool & laid back. The food was amazing. Even better than we expected. My wife had the Brisket Two Fister with Hush Puppies. She raved about the brisket throughout her entire meal. I tasted it, she wasn’t kidding! The hush puppies were also amazing. I had the Catfish Taco and that too was delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Fishing Pig in Westboro and I must say, it was nothing short of exquisite. The moment I stepped in, the inviting ambiance and friendly staff made me feel welcomed.

I’m hoping I still have a picture of the reheated roast beef they called “brisket” I was craving BBQ. In a moment of weakness I went to the Fishing Pig. I know better. But, I wasn’t about to roll out my Akorn, fire up a chimney of coals, and prep some pecan chunck before trying to find a whole packer. It was cold, and I was hungry.

Bang bang shrimp is sooo good! Fresh hot! Blackened tuna taco is okay but next time I will order bang bang shrimp taco. Meat plate is huge! I like sausage, chicken wings and pulled pork. Ribs and beef briskets are okay but a little bit dry. Service is good and atmosphere is really nice!

We made a huge mistake last month and chose another restaurant over trying Fishin’ Pig. That won’t happen again. Although next time will probably be at the Norfolk location.

Went with a party of 6, we all agreed the sides and appetizers were delicious. Everyone ordered either pulled pork or brisket and did not care for it. The brisket was all fat, the pulled pork was juicy but flavorless. Again, sides- mac n cheese, potato salad, slaw, collard greens, fries, side salad, appetizers- crab dip, fried pickles and fried green tomatoes were all delicious. They had a great selection of items on tap and mixed drinks.
