They’ve had certain servers before that weren’t so great but our most recent experience, was top notch. Make sure James the manager is there in the bar when you go!
Great fish and sides! The potato wedges or “chips” and coleslaw are so good too. Another perk is that they have the early bird special that is all day in the summer. Also, can’t bear $5 martinis, beer during happy hour, 5-6p, M-F!

I don’t say this lightly as someone who’s sought out the best seafood across the country and world: this is the most authentic catch in the Coachella Valley. From the fried shrimp to the grilled tacos, the quality is top-tier. A huge shout-out to Louie and James, who are doing an incredible job running this staple. Their attention to detail and commitment to the customer experience makes the Grotto feel like home, even for a discerning palate. Five stars all around.

Great Place for Fresh fish. I love the Fish Tacos I got the Cajun grilled Mahi Mahi and it’s just awesome. Been here at least 3 times in the past couple of years.

Cenamos anoche y todo fue espectacular. Pedimos de entrada una sopa de almejas y unas ostras cocinadas con una salsa muy rica. Y después pedimos el bote, que es como un mix de mariscos para compartir. Todo de lujo, muy rico. Sal y Victor nos atendieron excelente toda la noche. El espacio es muy acogedor y las luces tenues le dan cierto romanticismo a la experiencia. 100% recomendable.
