For a Sunday lunch, we were greeted by the triple-decade owner, whose spouse was working the grill. She was apologetic that they were understaffed bc they can’t obtain enough reliable employees. So, the wait was longer than hoped-for but well worth it! Coleslaw and fresh hush puppies followed our drink order. The fresh catch was perfectly prepared, the shrimp grits side dish was the creamiest ever, and the chocolate chess pie was delish! A definitely terrific, locally-known place that deserves your dime, if you have a little time.

Very good blackened Trigger fish with potato and gumbo. JoAn done a great job and brought us a sample of their shrimp grits because i explained to her o have yet to have good grits. Well i have officially now had good grits!

This place has exotic fish to eat at great prices and the trigger fish that was suggested to us by our waitress was just fantastic. We love this high class seafood and more restaurant.

My girlfriend and I ate there last night. The staff was friendly and prompt. The slaw and hush puppies were good. We both had catfish, one blackened and the other one fried. They both were delicious. The prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was great, reminded me a little of Cracker Barrel.

Tables are sticky which makes the experience a little uncomfortable. Good sized portions and the hush puppies are on point. I ordered the special of the day which was grouper with a side of shrimp grits. Service was good and the the food was fresh. Worth trying. Not from the area but would stop by if ever close to it again

Great food, and awesome people! This place is great and their specials are the best! The owner is originally from the New England area and it shows well in the cooking! He gets all of the delicious Gulf staples, and he gets his lobster from the New England area. They have great lobster bisque, grouper, and shrimp grits!

If I could give this place no stars, I would!! Do not waste your money when there are MUCH BETTER seafood restaurants in the area. My 2 year old was served RAW chicken fingers. That is absolutely unacceptable. In addition to that, the waitress argued with me about being able to bring out a plate of pasta with Alfredo sauce instead. I will never go back to this restaurant and I hope it shuts down!

This is a nice place to take the family with a great atmosphere. With that said the table was very sticky,hush puppies were dry, lack of service, and the steak was bland, even though I had to change my order. I have eaten here before and the food was very good my hope is that this was a one time occurrence.

This is fresh!!! So very good. Without a doubt this is better than Top O the River or The Fish Market. There is no doubt I will be back!!! Not only was the food AMAZING, the service was in point. Frequent visits to the table and super nice, wonderful attitude by the waitress!!!!! It was my first visit, not my last. I have a new favorite seafood restaurant!!!!!!

I am from the Gulf coast and I can tell you that these people KNOW good seafood!! Never had a bad meal there. We have taken out of town company there who are impressed, as well. Best seafood restaurant in Etowah County. 🙂
