The employees couldn’t have been nicer!
The lobster roll was amazing, especially as it was Thursday special… only $21 for 4 oz.
It was as good as a Maine lobster roll. The atmosphere was pretty cool too…skateboards and surfboards.

Delicious seafood with friendly service
I recently visited The Fish Joint at 4570 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL and had an excellent experience. The menu is loaded with fresh seafood options, from crispy fried shrimp and grilled mahi to savory crab boils, tacos, lobster rolls and chowders. Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that made each bite memorable. I enjoyed the meal I ordered, which came out hot and well‑seasoned, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is casual yet clean and inviting, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. What really stood out was the service. Kayla, the cashier, greeted me warmly, answered all my questions about the menu, and made sure my order was accurate. She even checked in later to see if I needed anything else. Her friendly demeanor, along with the rest of the staff, created a welcoming vibe that enhanced the meal experience. Overall, The Fish Joint delivers on its promise of fresh, flavorful seafood in a laid‑back setting. Between the diverse menu options and attentive service, it’s a place I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for great seafood in Coconut Creek

Quick lunch. I had a craving for fish and chips and unfortunately learned cracker barrel in deerfield Beach closed down. The fish was absolutely delicious and piping hot. The batter was not too thick. The fries were tasty and unlike any I’ve had before. The cole slaw was uninteresting and the flavor was not good. The hush puppies were hard and small. Maybe overcooked. Should definitely make them bigger so they dont overcook like this. The staff was polite friendly and helpful. Counter ordering was quick and the food was out in only a few minutes. I would come back but just for the fish. Also the tarter sauce had a great flavor and paired perfect with the fish. Its a bit pricey at $39 for two people for lunch and only 1 drink.

This restaurant has delicious food! I ordered the fried snapper platter and everything was fresh and seasoned very well, and a plentiful portion of food. Being from New Orleans where our cuisine is very seafood focused, finding a place in south FL that mimics food from home has been a challenge. This definitely hit the mark! Unfortunately, the price didn’t. Just one platter, no extras or drinks, was $22 before tip. While there are absolutely no complaints to be said about the food, I unfortunately won’t be back for a while due to the cost.

This is amazing fish restaurant!
The lobster roll was super delicious and not covered in any crazy sauce. And the seared tuna tacos were unbelievably delicious + french fries and corn were great as well.I highly recommend it!

As someone who used to eat here quite frequently, I am very disappointed with my last 2 visits. The food quality used to be a lot more enjoyable, but now it seems to lack any type of care and i can unfortunately say the same about the service. The food begun to lose its flavor and is made a lot differently. I had questions about the menu that couldn’t be answered properly. I still decided i’d try other things on the menu to find something for me to like, but it feels like i’ve lost appetite for this place as a whole. I tried the conch fritters and I felt a gush load of grease after my first bite in. The fritter itself was so burnt it could be mistaken for coal. I then attempted to eat some tacos until I found it just as nauseating. On top of waiting way too long for Tacos.. there was way too much seasoning on my Grilled tacos- very difficult to enjoy. Mistakes happen, but when I am already having a bad food experience at a place I used to enjoy it very disheartening. The only thing that could potentially save this place would be the bread pudding. To truly tie this poor experience together. I asked to speak to the owner and they were nowhere to be found.. Must be why the place is experiencing such a downfall. I felt as if this place a place to get customers to drain their money rather than actual quality care.

I tired the fish joint for the first time yesterday and I was not disappointed. The food came quickly and was hot, but not too hot that you couldn’t start eating. I tried the grilled tri-fecta which after eating made me full but not uncomfortably full. I actually had some left for later. The food was not greasy and was very tasteful. I’m already thinking about what to try on my next trip. The service was excellent, the server was very attentive and efficient. Awesome team at the coconut creek location. I will definitely be going back.
