The food tasted amazingly fresh. When we arrived there was nobody eating… which is usually a red flag…. but the owner had told us they have only been open for a couple months… so we gave it a shot. I highly recommend the sampler. It comes with alot of sauces and all the fish was cooked to perfection. The coconut shrimp was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The bacon wrapped Shrimp was honestly 10/10. Surf and Turf Taco was absolutely fantastic. And the Sourdough came chowder was fresh. When u get that grainy texture in your mouth from the clams it’s usually a great sign. I was very skeptical of this place until they blew my expectations away. Extra points for nice plating.

Since my wife and I can’t eat any red meat during the lent period. We have to look for other alternatives. Saw The Galley Fish Grill on yelp and decided to give it a try. The clam chowder tastes a little blended and too watery. The breaded fish is too small, even though there are 6 pieces. The fish burrito and Mahi Mahi are the best, they are very flavorful. I love the garnish on the Mahi Mahi, they use mango and red sweet pepper. Overall, they are all good, especially for the price, I paid around $60 for all these.

Food is super good!!! What else can I say? Bathrooms are clean and the food is super bomb! I had two taco plate with cilantro rice and black beans. My guy had the captains boil…he a picky eater…He loved it!!!

The Galley Fish Grill was really good and the service was great I recommend this place to enjoy good food and the best part is full bar and I will recommend this place to my friend and family. Carlos was the best I will return.

Just happened to be in the area and decided to pop-in for lunch. Tried the fish and chips and it was really good. The batter was light and crisp and everything tasted fresh. The service was outstanding. Bonus points for having Jennie on staff.

Drove by last night and saw that The Galley was open finally. Used to be a Mongolian BBQ place I’d visit every once in a while.
Stopped by today to order take out for lunch.
Flavors were so so, some lacking.
Ordered Captain’s Sampler, Captain’s Boil, clam chowder, fish tacos (galley and Ensenada style), potato tacos, kraken taco, elote.
Captain’s Sampler- nice assortment of different fried seafood, texture was okay, but a bit heavy on the breading side.
Captain’s Boil- cajun flavor was tasty. Portion could be larger for the price.
Clam chowder- tasted more like a vegetable chowder.
Ensenada fish tacos- could use more flavor. There’s sauces given so I used some of that. Maybe a little bit more veggies in it would be nice too.
Galley fish tacos- pretty much same flavor as Ensenada fish tacos, but they used panko instead. It kind of reminded me of frozen fried fish sticks.
Potato tacos- nice and stuffed. I liked their addition to soir cream on it and lettuce and tomatoes.
Kraken taco- they got an octopus tentacle on it. Haven’t tried it yet, but I’ll have to cut it up into pieces to be able to bite into the taco.
Elote- can’t go wrong with it. I like their tanginess level on it.
I probably wouldn’t order their fish tacos again due to the lack of flavors, but looking forward to try their other dishes like their beef stuff.

I and a friend ate there last weekend, it was SO good that we went there again on yesterday. My favorite is the grilled cod, it is so fresh and flavorful. I had the fish n’ chips on my first experience and it was also fresh with so much flavor and goodness with the wonderful sides you get. I highly recommend this place.
