We have lived full-time in Door County for 4.5 years abd had never dined at Fireside before. That was huge mistake on our part.
An inventive drink menu starts you off followed by a very creatve menu with southern/cajun items and some twists.
I started with the gator bites. Nicely fried with mildly spicy sauce. I followed that with the camel tenderloin which I had heard was quite good and it did not dissapoint. The chimichurri an the goat cheese grits were great additions to the dish. Others at the table had the salmon special, squash ravioli, and the filet. All were raving about the food.
And an i dication of their attention to detail, when asked how we wanted the camel and filet cooked, they were looking for the temperature we wanted, not just the standard ” make mine medium rare”.
Big shout out to Jing, our server. She made us feel welcome, handked everthing efficiently and was very pleassnt.
There’s no question that we will be back!

We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Fireside, and it was truly a five-star experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with a nice, quiet vibe and both indoor and outdoor seating options. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, making the evening feel extra special.

The food was outstanding—truly one of the best meals we’ve ever had. I had the Wildberry salmon, and my husband had the Jamaican jerk cod, both cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We finished the night by sharing a pumpkin spice bread pudding that was absolutely delicious.

This is a place we’ll remember and one we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Egg Harbor!

A wonderful Cajun and southern-style restaurant! After living in New Orleans for over a decade, this was fun to find in Door County. The menu was very creative and the food was excellent. The service was top notch — even though they were very busy. Our server was friendly and fantastic. Definitely check it out!

WOW! I would give this 10 stars if I could. I was there for a work holiday party and requested a vegan dinner, though there was nothing obvious from the menu. The chef personally came out to serve me a beautiful vegan entree and a very special vegan dessert!! Both were outstanding, thoughtfully crafted, and huge portions. I couldn’t have imagined a better accommodation, especially in WI where many don’t even know what vegan is. The staff, ambience, and food made this such a great experience. Highly recommend!

The food was outstanding and unlike most places up here with small portions but outrageous prices, we couldn’t even finish our dinner. The ribs were so tender. The jambalaya was very flavorful. Our waitress Jing was very kind.

If you only go to one restaurant in Egg Horbor, this should be the one. The food here is amazing! It is a little pricey but totally worth it. All 4 of our meals were unique and delicious. Best prime rib I’ve had in a long time and was served the exact temp I asked for, Rare. Service was excellent too. We will be back for sure. My only complaint it that it closes too early, but so does every other restaurant in Egg Harbor.

The staff – warm and welcoming.
The atmosphere – polished but not stuffy.
The food – Chicken feta was full of flavor.
Salmon with risotto-Parmesan cake was outstanding.
Jambalaya was authentic Louisiana with a kick.
The pear-goat cheese appetizer is a must!

Five stars does not seem adequate for the Fireside Restaurant. I live in a small tourist town in Minnesota with excellent restaurants, but driving to Door County and experiencing the food, atmosphere, and all the people who work there, (including the owners and staff)….always exceeds my expectations. Bravo!!!
