This was my 1st time visit and I Absolutely love this place! It’s definitely one of my favorites. Small place with a large punch when it comes to quality and flavor. Filling and flavorful. The owner was very helpful in explaining the menu options, how everything is cooked, and what flavors to expect. When you walk in there are foods in the refrigerator and sweet treats to-go, or to stay. All drinks (including water) are separate purchases from the cooler.
What was ordered:
1. The Beast Burger (with alternative sweet potatoes fries). The burger was topped with bacon, and brisket, Cooper cheese, and an add-on topping of banana peppers. The sweet and salty layered combo was perfection. I was so mad when I finished it, but I couldn’t eat another bite even if I wanted to. Zzzzzzz
2. The Big Pig. Pulled pork and a healthy dose of coleslaw.
100% recommend. Easy to follow menu, quick ticket time, comfortable seating with elbow room, and love the support for local bakers in the area.

Eat Here! In Scranton this is where you need to eat. The rating is the truth. Do yourself a favor. It is very cost effective also. I am in Scranton for the day and got done with meetings early. I looked for the highest rated place I could find and headed straight here. Well worth it. The food was really good and everyone here seemed to enjoy what they were eating. Lots of locals coming in and getting to go orders also. I challenge you to stop by and rate it for yourself.

Was on the way home from Cooperstown and made a pit stop here for dinner. What an awesome little shop! Plenty of food options for everyone to try. I chose the Italian hoagie and breaded zucchini sticks and both tasted wonderful! Plenty of meat filling in the sub and the zucchini sticks were as expected. Definitely recommend stopping to check out if you’re in the area. They have other options for desserts and drinks also!

Small local spot with a huge burst of flavor! Great for family and loved ones. We got the pierogies and honey garlic wings… all to die for! If you ever have the chance they are a must try.

First time in the area and decided to try out The Fire Pit. We were not disappointed. I had the loaded pulled pork sandwich and I needed a knife and fork to eat it. Was absolutely delicious. My husband had the Grilled Reuben and claimed it was the best he’s had in the area and we’ve lived in NEPA for three years. My recommendation is if you are ever in the area, stop in. Coming from TX and bbq was everywhere, this was a wonderful find

Delicious barbecue at a great price! The brisket melted in your mouth, the tater tots were crispy, and the pickles finished the dish well.

Top notch BBQ with a good small town feel, staff were super friendly. Food was prepped faster than any “fast food” place by far, and 1000% better. All I could ask for outside the priorities of a BBQ place is more outdoor seating, otherwise perfect and great business!!!

I have stopped there a few times and they were very friendly and greeted me quickly. The wing sauce was great and the sub was packed. I recommend trying it once and I will be trying other items on the menu.
I have been back several times after my review and I have not been disappointed. This is one of my new favorite places
