One of my favorite pizza places in town. Wood-fired, thin crust pizza – the kind where you accidentally eat a whole pizza by yourself!
Even though you are seated outside, in the colder months they have heaters going and panels blocking the wind. I may choose to leave my coat on, but I am always comfortable.
You order your drinks and pizza at the bar. You carry your drinks back to your table and they’ll deliver the pizza out to you. I appreciate they have Kombucha on tap. Plenty of beer to choose from.
Pro tip: you can get halfsies of all of the pizzas. They have no many great ones to choose from it is difficult to settle one just one! Always take a look at the board behind the bar to check out the special pizza of the season and the dessert pizza.

Train station reconfigured to be a fun spot for dinner and drinks, very cool vibe. The red geraniums added a cool greenhouse vibe, it’s like you’re sitting outside but it’s heated. It’s self service, walk to the bar and order yourself kind of style. The pizzas were good but not amazing, ok red sauce- very thin which was great and piping hot from the oven at least. The salad was very pretty and colorful, good portion for 2-3 people to share with a pizza or two. I felt it was overdressed and the feta was not crumbly but very creamy- which overall made the salad super rich. Waitstaff and the hosts were super nice! We got seated right away and food came out promptly which was awesome.

What a cool venue! Only salads and flatbread pizzas available, but they are delicious! You order your food at a counter, they bring it out to you. Gluten free crust available, and they are familiar with Celiac disease. The outside eating area is heated for chilly nights. It can be a bit loud out there- the sound echoes a bit, but a cool venue if you’re looking for a different place to eat.

Another one of those do it yourself setups but at least at this place they inform you of it. They were all very polite but let us know we order at the bar then they deliver the food. Bartenders will take care of everything. Being by the train station is cool and the names of the beer and such. We ate outdoors which was nice. The place was packed and even though we ate outside it was still pretty loud. Pizza is good. Sausage is a bit over powering. Mushrooms were good. Cracker crust and was good in flavor. Thin crust pizza. For the beer. Most beers were good. I’d say average. The Bourbon Stout was my favorite but that is my jam. I would go back. My wife had the BBQ chicken pizza and it was good, not great. Chicken was dry. Cheese was ok. Not enough cilantro and you can see it in the picture, not a whole lot of green. They were also shy on the onion. The BBQ sauce had good flavor.

The Filling Station made an excellent choice for dinner. I had the Spartan pizza along with a flight of their beers. The food and drinks were both great, and service was fast and friendly despite being busy. The atmosphere was casual and pleasant, and it’s definitely a popular place. The outdoor seating on the patio was nice. I’d definitely visit again next time I’m in Traverse City.

Had a great experience for dinner with two adults and two kids. They are super accommodating if you are there with small children, going so far as to provide Play-Doh for the kids to play with while we waited for our food. All of the staff was super friendly and super-efficient. The beer was great and the pizza was fantastic. They even converted our 6 year old from a cheese and pepperoni only kid to one of the more adventurous pizzas.

This is a must visit and one of our forever favorites in Traverse City! The staff is the best you will find, we were greeted with such happiness and offered toys for the little guys right from the start. The bartenders were great and our hostess watched over us and helped us with suggestions and our order throughout the evening. We ordered some bomb beer, drinks for the kids and ended up sharing a handful of 1/2 pizzas. The beer was great and every pizza was absolutely amazing! When you have great service it shows and the staff here is above all others! They deserve and earn every 5 stars! Thank you for a great experience that we will remember for a long time.

Great pizza, we had the BL.Tizza, better than most with their avocado blended sauce, would recommend to a friend 10 out of 10. Limited non pizza menu but overall great. The Pilsner, oatmeal stout and sour were all loved by us.

A fun experience! Their gluten free crust is also dairy free which was awesome for me because I have allergies. I got the vegan pizza they offered on the GF crust, it was delicious! No waiters, you go to the bar and order. Honestly preferred this way of dining out. Friendly staff, working at a quick pace to keep up with the rush. They did a good job.

This place did not disappoint. I love the atmosphere, the staff were extremely friendly and explained how the whole ordering process takes place. From the time we ordered our pizzas to it getting to our table was exceptionally fast. We will definitely return!
