My friends and I technically came here by accident since we thought it was a special theme night of trivia, but we are very happy we did. First, the people, especially the regulars, are phenomenal. Very kind and engaging. I love coming here for (general) Trivia on Wednesday (@7pm). Everyone is personable and accepting, with a touch of friendly competition. It is a highlight of my week when I get the chance to come. The questions are the perfect balance of difficulty and the moderator (Ed with Trivia614) makes the experience very enjoyable and has great rapport with all the customers and staff. Not to mention, the prizes are worth it. (There are weeks when you may need to get there earlier in order to get optimal seating as it can fill up closer to start time. )
The food is great. Now that I’ve been coming for a while, I have my standard rotation of food but I love the Wild Tots, Hot Balls, Pot Roast Sandwich, Southwest Chicken Wrap, Chicken Strips, and their Chopped Salad. (Also, their monthly special is always worth a try. ) Their drink selection is fantastic.
Although they are usually busy on trivia night, the servers are always very attentive. Kayla and Hayleigh are always running around making sure everyone is well taken care of and very patient when I have questions about the monthly special. They are friendly and upbeat. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know them the more I’ve come.
In general, the ambiance is that of a classic community bar. Bathrooms are clean. Brighter than a dive bar and with enough background music and noise to not be awkward but still have a conversation. They usually have a fun event happening each night and on the weekends. Plenty of TVs for watching sports. Good amount of parking, sometimes more sparse on busy trivia nights but you can always find a spot. Highly recommend!

The Filling Station is my favorite neighborhood spot!!! The food is soooo good, truly a hidden gem, the buffalo chicken wrap is my go to!! After a long day at work this is the seriously the best place to chill and grab a bite with my friends.
The food and drinks are always spot on but honestly the best part of this place is the girls working the bar. Laura is so cool and funny I love when I come in and she’s working! When I come to the filling station I know I’m gonna have a good time!!

Bongo Bongo
A deceivingly great plaza bar restaurant! Consider it a hidden gem. Great food that has the best chicken quesadillas in Columbus. There I said it. Haven’t have any other place beat it! Next, their burgers are my go to, where they’re delicious, not sloppy, and not expensive. Honorable mentions go to the pretzel stick appetizer with dipping sauce, and the southwest chicken salad. The drink prices are great and don’t break the bank. There’s Ohio lottery lotto there and every Thursday a Queen of Hearts raffle (7:00 PM). The only frustration is the random game day menu versus regular menu. For college football Saturday, NFL Sunday, or playoff/championship games, sure I understand. But there are 300 games a year for all the sports and it’s frustrating going there on a weekday , non-major game to have the limited menu. This isn’t a unique problem to this place though.

Definitely a hidden gem of a place! Love their wings, all of the food we’ve eaten here has actually been pretty amazing. Not often can you say that about a place these days. Let’s pair that amazing food with great drinks and some of the best service! Jess S has always been so welcoming with a beautiful smile on her face and you never feel like a stranger. She always makes the extra effort to ensure we are well taken care of and satisfied with our visit.

I had an excellent experience here. It was a great spot to catch up with old friends, play some pool and unwind after a long day. Kayla tended to our table and made sure we had a steady supply of ice cold Miller Lite by the bucket. I will for sure come back to hangout with this crew!

If chicken wings could vote, they’d elect this place President. That’s how good they are. Crispy, saucy, life-changing. I’ve had relationships less satisfying.And then there’s Hayleigh. The bartender, the myth, the legend. She doesn’t just pour drinks — she delivers liquid courage with a side of comedy and makes you feel like you’re starring in your own sitcom. Honestly, she could hand me a glass of tap water and I’d still tip big just for the experience. This isn’t just a bar, it’s a lifestyle choice.
